RAF flat wing above Left Pocket with Air Lieutenant slip on rank. The RAF personnel at the RATG Camps had the Uniforms made by the local tailors in Rhodesia. Adverts in the magazine, Slipstream, Rafters etc. advertise the service to all Airmen for Uniform requirements. A653 RAF WW II Sidcot Flight Overall (as used by the Rhodesians) 1500 Condition is good but where the leg bottoms stick into the boots there are some marks. Electrically wired for heat with label and Airman stamp. All zips work. A654 RAF WW II Observers Parachute and Life vest jacket. Label 500 intact. Manufactured by Irvine Air Chute G.B. Date of manufacture is 1941 stamped. In good condition with all zips working but one zip the puller has broken. It is the right zip chin to bottom. A few grease marks on the right chest. A655 RAF WW II Aircrew Blouse with label stamped 1941 500 Seargent Pilot in good condition. Seargent stripes both arms with flat RAF wing Kings Crown above the left pocket. Again this is as used by Rhodesians. A656 RAF WW II Officer Pilots jacket for and Air Lieutenant. Blazer is 600 in OK condition for age with moth nips as I received it. RAF buttons are all intact – Eagle and Crown. The L & R sleeves have Lieutenant rank on cuff (2 rings) Above the left pocket is a medal ribbon bar for DFC. Above the DFC ribbon is RAF padded wing Kings Crown. Again as worn by Rhodesians. A668 An unusual Riot type helmet 200 Blue plastic miners shape helmet with black chin strap and brass BSAP cap badge in the front in good condition. On liner is Helmets Ltd England. This Kangol wear Ltd Navy Blue Beret is in good condition Size 7 1/8 with two eyelets on the fold over side with BSAP 1948 issue badge.
