Liberty University is planning to bring the largest group of college students for the third year in a row to the nation’s largest gathering of conservative activists, politicians and organizations. The 2008 Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) will take place Thursday, Feb. 7 through Saturday, Feb. 9 at the Omni Shoreham Hotel in Washington, D.C.

The event, co-sponsored by Liberty University and the Liberty University School of Law will feature presidential candidates and a host of conservative media members and authors.

Invited speakers include Vice President , ’ Sean , , , Kentucky Sen. Mitch McConnell, political activist Phyllis Schafly and many more.

In addition to exciting speakers and workshops, more than 6,000 attendees will have the opportunity to participate in an internship and job fair where more than 100 of the nation’s leading conservative organizations are seeking young talent.

CPAC also includes a special Liberty reception for alumni and students featuring Thomas Road Baptist Church Pastor Jonathan Falwell, Liberty University’s School of Law Dean Mathew Staver, officials from Concerned Women for America and more.

Liberty University students may register online for $25 at http://www.cpac.org/ and visit the Career Center in DeMoss 2016 to secure transportation and two nights lodging for $95.
