Pengaruh Terpaan Informasi Prostitusi Seungri Eks Big Bang Di Media Sosial Twitter Terhadap Sikap Followers @Seungriid Volume 8 Nomor 2, Juli – Desember 2020 P-ISSN 2355-5807 E-ISSN 2477-3433 Pengaruh Terpaan Informasi Prostitusi Seungri Eks Big Bang di Media Sosial Twitter terhadap Sikap Followers @SeungriID Khairunnisa Devani Aqtus Permana Putri1 1 Marketing Communication Management, Postgraduate Programme, London School of Public Relations Corresponding Author’s Email: [email protected] ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh terpaan informasi prostitusi tentang Seungri Eks Big Bang di media sosial Twitter terhadap Sikap Followers @SeungriID. Banyak sekali pro dan kontra bagi penggemarnya atas informasi prostitusi ini. Media sosial yang digunakan adalah Twitter yang menjadi media penggerak utama Korean Wave. Informasi yang hadir di Twitter dapat membentuk sikap seseorang. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan data yang didapatkan dari penyebaran kuesioner kepada followers @SeungriID dan menggunakan analisis regresi linear. Variabel yang digunakan adalah terpaan informasi di media sosial dengan dimensi frekuensi, durasi dan atensi dan variabel sikap yang mempunyai dimensi kognitif, afektif dan konatif. Menggunakan teknik pengambilan sampel nonprobabiliy sampling dengan 100 responden sebagai sampel dari 7,881 followers. Dari penelitian yang telah dilakukan, terdapat pengaruh antara terpaan informasi prostitusi Seungri Eks Big Bang di media sosial Twitter terhadap sikap followers @SeungriID dengan tingkat korelasi yang lemah. Hal ini dikarenakan kurangnya frekuensi dan durasi responden untuk membaca informasi prostitusi Seungri eks Big Bang yang rata-rata hanya membutuhkan waktu < 5 kali. Penelitian lebih lanjut diharapkan dapat memberikan perkembangan dengan meneliti variabel bebas lain yang tidak ada di penelitian ini, sehingga mendapatkan data yang dalam berupa faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi sikap terhadap informasi. Kata kunci : Terpaan Informasi, Sikap, Media Sosial ABSTRACT This research aims to determine the effect of information exposure about prostitution by the former of Big Bang, Seungri on Social Media Twitter, toward followers @SeungriID. Lots of pros and cons for fans of this information. Twitter is the main driving media for the Korean Wave. The information on Twitter forming a person's attitude. This research is a quantitative study using data obtained from distributing questionnaires to followers of @SeungriID and using linear regression analysis. The variables are information exposure on social media with dimensions of frequency, duration and attention and attitude variables which have cognitive, affective and conative dimensions. The sampling technique used nonprobabiliy sampling technique by taking a sample of 100 respondents from 7,881 followers. From the research that has been done, there is an effect between information exposure about prostitution by the former of Big Bang's Seungri on social media Twitter on the attitudes of followers @SeungriID with a weak correlation level. This is due to the lack of frequency and duration of respondents reading information about the prostitution of the former Big Bang's Seungri, which on average only takes <5 times. Further research is expected to provide development by examining other independent variables that are not present in this research, to obtain data in the form of factors that affect attitudes towards in-depth information. D. ABSTRACT Stemming from a recent surge in articles related to Korean masculinities, and based in a feminist and queer Marxist theoretical framework, this paper asks how gender, with a specific focus on what is referred to as soft masculinity, is constructed through K-pop performances, as well as what power structures are in play. By reading studies on pan-Asian masculinities and gender performativity - taking into account such factors as talnori and kkonminam, and investigating conceptual terms flower boy, aegyo, and girl crush - it forms a baseline for a qualitative research project. By conducting qualitative interviews with Swedish K-pop fans and performing semiotic analysis of K-pop music videos, the thesis finds that although K-pop masculinities are perceived as feminine to a foreign audience, they are still heavily rooted in a heteronormative framework. Furthermore, in investigating the production of gender performativity in K-pop, it finds that neoliberal commercialism holds an assertive grip over these productions and are thus able to dictate ‘conceptualizations’ of gender and project identities that are specifically tailored to attract certain audiences. Lastly, the study shows that these practices are sold under an umbrella of ‘loyalty’ in which fans are incentivized to consume in order to show support for their idols – in which the concept of desire plays a significant role.     Asian International Studies Review Vol. 18 No.1 (June 2017): 153-169 153 Received March 15, 2017 Revised May 10, 2017 Accepted May 20, 2017 Hallyu at a Crossroads: The Clash of Korea’s Soft Power Success and China’s Hard Power Threat in Light of Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) System Deployment HANNAH JUN* The past two decades have witnessed the remarkable success of Hallyu, or the Korean Wave, with Korea welcoming a large influx of foreign visitors and benefiting from massive consumption of products ranging from Korean television and film, K-pop and lifestyle products. A more recent announcement by CJ E&M points to an even more aggressive plan for regional ubiquity, as encapsulated by Hallyu 4.0. Simultaneously, we have already felt some of the effect of policy changes in China – a core Hallyu market – as a response to Korea’s plan to deploy a Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) system. In this sense, we see the stirrings of a clash between Korean soft power and Chinese hard power, and are uncertain who will emerge on top. This paper examines the broad success of Hallyu from key theoretical perspectives, while addressing linkages between Korean corporations and cultural power/influence that have led to an announcement such as Hallyu 4.0. This paper also highlights the recent tensions between Korea and China, specifically with respect to THAAD deployment, and outlines potential implications for businesses and policymakers through preliminary scenarios.     YG Entertainment (122870 KQ ) Global platform revenue exhibits strong growth 3Q18 review: Parent and YouTube both better than expected Entertainment For 3Q18, YG Entertainment reported consolidated revenue of W65.2bn (-13.3% YoY ) and operating profit of W2.6bn (+77.8% YoY). Operating profit fell short of our Results Comment estimate, which did not include content production losses (W1.7bn ). Still, we believe the company pe rformed in line with market expectations, considering the unfavorable November 12, 2018 earnings variables it faced in the quarter. Revenue from YouTube was also better than expected. Despite a widely anticipated void in concerts, Seungri, iKON, and BLACKPINK made great strides in the quarter. In particular, 1) BLACKPINK’s success drove robust digital (Maintain) Buy music revenue (W14.1bn; -11.3% YoY). 2) In addition, revenue from YouTube, a key area of focus, grew strongly to more than W3bn, likely exceeding the 1H18 total. Even after excluding one-time revenue from G-Dragon ’s documentary, YouTube revenue was Target Price (12M, W) 60,000 better than our expectation of W2bn. We believe domestic digital music sales, a relatively stable source of income, and global platform sales (YouTube ads, Apple Share Price (11/09/18, W) 36,200 Music/Spotify licensing, etc.), a fast-growing source of income, will both continue to make an increasing contribution to profits. Abstract In this thesis, I take a research on the identity construction of G-Dragon’s fandom group on the Weibo platform. Through the blended netnography, which consists of online participant observation and offline in-depth interview, I analyze the process of how the self-identity constructs among those fans through their online practical activities and how the fandom group forms their cultural identity from the cross-cultural perspective. In my analysis, I find that the construction of self-identity is realized in several ways, which are self-evaluation and the other’s evaluation, the projection of intention and emotion, anti-group consumption and cosplay. Also, I try to discuss the identity construction from the cross-cultural perspective. Because the K-pop music is a cross-cultural media product, so the fans have to face two identities: Chinese and Korean pop music fans. Through an analysis of cultural similarity and cultural conflict, I aim to discuss how the cultural similarity affects the construction process of self-identity, how the fandom group struggles in the cultural conflict in order to construct their self-identity and how we consider the abroad fandom group constructing their self-identity from the cultural hybridity perspective. In my discussion chapter, I will try to set some further prospects for the future research field.

Specifically, it in- vestigates why the music video Gangnam Style gained popularity not only in East Asia but also over the world, how it is circulated, and what conditions contribute to its success. It focuses on the role of the networked audiences and the interactions between the networked audiences and mainstream media through a chronological analysis on the distribution and reproduction process of Gangnam Style on YouTube.
