Upstream to produce Daily News at 20th World Petroleum Congress

The World Petroleum Council has appointed Upstream, the leading quality news source for the international oil and gas industry, to produce the Daily Newsletter for the 21st World Petroleum Congress. Held in Moscow, Russia, from the 15-19 June this year, the 21st WPC will be the highlight on the oil and gas calendar for 2014, with 5000 delegates, 600 speakers and over 500 Ministers and CEOs attending from around the world.

Dr. Pierce Riemer, the Director General of the World Petroleum Council, announced the appointment and added: “We feel confident that Upstream can provide the unbiased, independent journalism required for the 21st WPC Daily Newsletter. Their excellent proposal, combined with the quality Upstream brings to the table, made them the best candidate to deliver the Daily News at the 21st World Petroleum Congress.”
