Answer:

$1.25 million.

Answer: Platming and project development phase works for various upgrades and improvements on and Great Southern Higliway.

Answer: $35 million is allocated for the project.

Answer: The works will occur in two stages: . Stage One: Construction of three major floodways and works to cattle grids, This stage will coriumence inId-2018. . Stage Two: Road maintenance for approximately five years. This will commence 12 months prior to the beginning of Square Kilometre Array Phase I project, which is currently scheduled for inId-2020.

I refer to 'Toodyay Road - Roland Road East to Toodyay' on page 624 of Budget Paper 2 and I ask: Please detail the scope of works that will be haded from the allocated $17.2 million in 20 17-18?

Answer: $15 million is allocated for two construction projects west of Gidgegaimup in the City of Swan. Improvements will be made to: . The pair of intersections at Toodyay Road and Roland Road/0'Brien Road, and . The pair of intersections at Toodyay Road and Stoneville Road/Reen Road plus the adjacent passing lane.

$2.2 million is allocated for preconstruction work east of Gidgegaimup in the Shire of Toodyay, Preconstruction work includes geoteclrrtical and environmental investigations, road design and land resumption. Priority areas for preconstruction work in 2017-18 are west of Toodyay town site, near Feinie Road and Jimperding Brook.

5, I refer to the ' State Road Funds to Local Govenrrnent Agreement' on page 618 of Budget Paper 2 and I ask: (a) In each year from 2017-18 until2020-21 please advise what percentage of total revenue from motor vehicle licensing this amount equates to; and

Answer:

Answer: The reduction relates to the 'State Road Funds to Local Goverimient Agreement'.

6. I refer to the Incident Response Service (IRS) operated by Main Roads WA and I ask: (a) Please detail what appropriation was made for the service in 20/7/18;

Answer: Main Roads' contribution to the Incident Response Service in 2017-18 is $1.5 million. This does not include the Perth Parking Fund contribution managed by the Department of Transport.

(b) What is the number of ETE supporting the service and their position titles;

Answer: Main Roads has no FTE supporting the service. Main Roads operates the service with 19 contractors: . one IRS supervisor . ten IRS crew members . eight Incident Response Service crew leaders

How many vehicles support the service detailing there make and model;

Answer: Main Roads has six leased vehicles supporting the service: . two ISItzu trucks . two Mercedes Sprinter vans . one Toyota Prad0 4WD . one utility

(d) Are any of the IRS vehicles deemed 'emergency vehicles' or 'special purpose vehicles' within the definition of the Road Traffic Code 2000; and

Answer: No. Main Roads is currently seeking an amendment to the Road Trq6'ic Code 2000 to include a definition for Main Roads' Incident Response Service Vehicles

(e) What approvals are in place in accordance with regulation 289 of the Road Traffic Code 2000 in relation to IRS vehicles?
