Inland Empire 5 13 .278 6 HAPPY WHEN SKIES ARE GRAY: Josiah Gray, nicknamed JoJo, is on a tear on California League mound’s right now. If you take out his debut, in which he gave up three earned runs in 0.2 innings, these are Gray’s numbers: 6-0 record, 1.96 ERA, 72 strikeouts and 10 walks. The New Rochelle, NY native might just be on a fast track to a second promotion in 2019. CAL LEAGUE SCOREBOARD KEEP IT GOIN’: Last night’s win for Rancho gave them a seventh straight win overall, extending their longest winning streak of the YESTERDAY year and giving them a 7-0 record to start the month of July. The last time the Quakes won five in a row, they swept a five-game series in San Bernardino from the 66ers, in the final road trip of the first half. They are now 18 games over .500 for the first time this year at RANCHO CUCAMONGA 6 at Lake Elsinore 1 52-34 and an incredible 31-15 away from LoanMart Field. The franchise record for wins is 15 straight, set during the 2018 season. In his last start overall, against this Lake Elsinore club, Jackson scattered just two hits over five innings, surrendering one earned run in a TOMORROW win on July 3rd.
