Baloise Session @Home with Anna Rossinelli: It's a Holiday for Your Soul! Baloise Session @home with Anna Rossinelli: It's a holiday for your soul! Hold Your Head Up, dear music fan: The Baloise Session once again delivers live music to your own home! On 31 May at 6.30 pm, the authentic force of nature Anna Rossinelli brings colour to everyday life with her Baloise Session @home – presented by Basler Versicherungen. Special guest will be «SRF 3 Best Talent» winner Caroline Alves from French-speaking Switzerland. Her concept is surprise: Anna Rossinelli made street music, represented Switzerland at the Eurovision Song Contest and inspires with her strong voice and great variety of styles. Within a few years, Anna Rossinelli chalked up no less than five albums in the Top 10 of the Official Swiss Hit Parade. And with their current album «White Garden», the Basel trio conquered the top spot for the second time after «Marylou» (2013). Now the Basel singer-songwriter, together with her band members and special guest «SRF 3 Best Talent» winner Caroline Alves, will enchant her fans with a variety-filled Baloise Session @home: «How much we missed being on stage as a band, playing live and immersing ourselves in the music. At the Baloise Session @home it's finally time again! We are looking forward like crazy, especially to our special guest Caroline Alves», says Anna Rossinelli. The Basel boutique festival has already reached over 1.8 million people with its innovative live-streamed Baloise Session@home concert series featuring renowned artists Milow, Stephan Eicher, Philipp Fankhauser, 77 Bombay Street, Stefanie Heinzmann, Seven, Bastian Baker, Marc Sway, Pegasus, Steff la Cheffe, Baschi, Damian Lynn, James Gruntz, Stress and Dodo. A huge success for the festival. And a terrific gesture by Basler Versicherungen, which is actively supporting the hard-hit music scene with its sponsorship of the Baloise Session @home concerts during the pandemic. But the Baloise Session@home is more than just a live-streamed concert. It is accompanied by the Baloise Session Story, a very personal interview in which the stars talk about their thoughts and experiences during these special times and look back on the rich history of the Baloise Session: they relate which artists from the music festival's 34-year-old repertoire have particularly inspired them, and reveal amazing stories and anecdotes in the process. Baloise Session @home The Baloise Session is one of the most renowned music festivals in Switzerland. In spring of 2020 the Baloise Session, in collaboration with its presenting sponsor Basler Versicherungen, launched a series of virtual concerts to raise the spirits during the corona lockdown: once a month, in the Baloise Session @home format, the music festival streams an exclusive live concert featuring popular acts to their fans' homes. Meine Reaktion darauf war jeweils zweigeteilt. Zum einen war es eine positive Botschaft, dass das Publikum «sein» Radio und Fernsehen nach der geglückten Zusammenführung offenbar bestens wiedererkannte. Immerhin bauten wir SRF auf das stabile Fundament zweier durch hochwertige Programme renom- mierter Medienunternehmen. Wir hatten keinen Anlass, an diesen Grundfesten zu rütteln. Vielmehr ging und geht es im Konvergenzprozess darum, Radio, Fernsehen und die zugehörigen Multimedia-Angebote fit für die Zukunft zu machen – also um eine sorgfältige Renovierung, nicht um einen totalen Neubau.
