Радков Резюме: Дейта центровете са много важни за бизнеса. Те осигуряват услуги и приложения, които се използват както от фирмите така и от гражданите. При проектирането и изграждането на ДЦ трябва да се вземат под внимание не само изискванията на бизнеспроцесите, но и изискванията на международните и национални стандарти. Важно е специалистите, които проектират и изграждат ДЦ, да са запознати със съществуващите стандарти и добри практики. Тази статия анализира стандартите и определя тяхната приложимост при решаването на отделните задачи, решавани при проектиране и изграждане на ДЦ. Ключови думи: достъпност, безотказност, дейта център, възстановяване на бизнеса, непрекъснатост на бизнеса, резервираност. ANALYSIS AND COMPARISON OF INTERNATIONAL STANDARDS FOR DATA CENTER INFRASTRUCTURE Rosen S. Radkov Abstract: Data centers are essential for the business today. They provide services and applications that are used by both company and ordinary citizens. To build a DC infrastructure in order to meet the specifics of the business processes it is needed to consider both its peculiarities, international and local standards. It is important that the designers of DCs have knowledge of the ideas incorporated into the various standards and knowledge of best practices. This article analyzes the indicators used by various standards that define the requirements when designing a data center. Keywords: Availability, reliability, data center, disaster recovery, business continuity, redundancy. 1. Въведение Дейта центровете (ДЦ) са от съществено значение за фирмите и пазарите. Високата производителност и високата достъпност са основни изисквания към тях, независимо от размера им. Те трябва да са на разположение 24 часа в денонощието и 365 дни в годината. Само използването на висококачествено оборудване не е достатъчно, за да се гарантира безпроблемната им работа. Замяната на съществуващите компоненти с такива, които осигуряват по-висока производителност, също е неадекватно решение. Днес наличието на сигурен и надежден ДЦ, който работи ефективно, е конкурентно предимство за всяка компания. Експлоатацията на ДЦ трябва да отговаря на международните

TSIP is Teach For Bulgaria’s ‘learning loop’ which allows us to incentivize, track, and collect case studies to be used in training and knowledge sharing among TFB teachers and beyond. For five years we have benefited from the best practice examples of TFB teachers who go above and beyond to facilitate and motivate student progress. On June 11th Teach For Bulgaria in partnership with America for Bulgaria Foundation and Plovidv University, we held the annual TSIP conference, “Education for the success of every child”. The TSIP conference brought together the larger TFB community, including teachers, alumni, pricipals of partner schools and prospective partners, corporate and individual supporters, representatives of educational institutions in Bulgaria and members of the TFALL partner network. We were honoured by the opening remarks and encourgaements by the deputy minister of education and science, Deyan Stamatov, the president of the republic of Bulgaria, Rosen Plevneliev, the Dutch Royal princess Laurentien van Oranje, and the deputy mayor of the city of Plovdiv, Stefan Stoianov. I may want to do this, but it has been exactly what most newspapers in Sofia are doing daily. The media are criticizing the government on the grounds that it is not providing the optimal conditions for Bulgaria to receive various EU program funds. AmCham Bulgaria Magazine has a clear position on this issue. We do not think that the Bulgarian business should suffer by being cut off investments from the EU because of corruption or poor preparation of the authorities. All the same, we believe that no matter how much noise the media create, it is not going to change the status quo much. I have a 17-year-long practice as a journalist, and cannot recall a single instance when a newspaper publication or television expose on corruption issues has brought down Cabinet members or stimulated a true institutional reorganization. The reason for this low effectiveness is that the media do not go much further than stating the obvious: a) corruption exists in Bulgaria, and b) it is bad. We all know that - but so what? Media rarely if ever provided solutions to this pervasive problem.
