“Meeting the World” Core Graphics Theme of Asian Games Hangzhou 2022

The core graphics draws inspirations from silk - a quintessential cultural element of the host city Hangzhou, which was a key linking point on the Maritime Silk Road.

Its design represents a combination of traditional and modern styles and static and dynamic touches, and a welcome to all Olympic Council of Asia members to the sports event in 2022.

“Harmony of Colours” Colour System Theme of Asian Games Hangzhou 2022

The colour system of Hangzhou 2022 is dominated by Rainbow Purple, the main colour of the Games emblem, and complemented by Glowing Red, Mist White, Laurus Yellow, Glimmering Blue and Lake and Mountain Green.

It is inspired by lines from one of China's most famous poets Su Shi from the Song Dynasty: " is like Xi Zi in beauty, at her best: She is gorgeous, richly clothed or plainly dressed."
