The Tasmanian Government recognises the significance of the Cascade Brewery and its renowned products to Tasmania. We believe this project will further enhance Tasmania's brand in premium food and beverages. We see significant benefits for the State from your proposal to nearly double the current production at the brewery and produce the largest variety of products ever from the site. We are also committing to this grant because of Cascade Brewery becoming an innovation hub for CUB through new product development and brewing of experimental liquids as well as your commitment that it will result in improved analytical laboratory skills and yeast management. I will ask the Office of the Coordinator-General to work with Crown Law and CUB to finalise the relevant legal documentation that will be required to be executed for this grant.
