Our tour will start at Rike park. Firstly, we’ll enjoy the fantasc panorama of the Old City on the opposite bank of the river, and walk a bit around the park. From the park we’ll take the cable car up to the Narikala Fortress - the main citadel of Tbilisi for many centuries. Then we will go down along the narrow, cute streets, with lovely green yards, and unique Tbilisi buildings, framed with grapevines and circled with a lacy balconies. Further we’ll pass by the mosque- the only one in Tbilisi. The beauful walls of the mosque are staying on the bank of the small river, which runs sparkling and bubbling from the top of the hills straight to the Kura river. The river takes its way through the picturesque gorge. We will go up, along the gorge, and this path will bring us to the lovely waterfall, which is situated straight in the middle of the city. The following stop in our walking tour - (literally "the baths area"). It is well known spacious sulfur baths resort. In previous centuries this was not just a SPA center, but a place where friends and relaves met, spent couple of relaxing hours, and enjoyed the company of each other. Along the road we will see lovely and cozy open cafes and small restaurants, which are famous for the Caucasian hospitality, incredibly tasty kitchen and wines. We will go across the well-known "", which spanned the Mtkhvari (Kura) River. It is remarkable for the futurisc design. Aerwards we’ll visit famous Sioni Cathedral (built in 17th century). We will explore the lovely and cozy pedestrian streets of Mtskheta. The center of the city was renovated and restored not so long ago, and now looks charming and aracve. On the main street there is a small street market where one can see or even try different local products, such as churchkhela, honey or house wine.

We are returning back to Tbilisi to take part in the CITY TOUR Holy Trinity Cathedral ‘Sameba’, which is the main Chrisan Orthodox cathedral in Georgia. Connue onwards to see the Church of Assumpon which rests upon the top of the hill. The church was built by the Georgian king St Demetrius II between 1278-1284.

This is a the medieval castle which was constructed to protect the trade route. The place is well-known not only for its reach history but also for the breathtaking views of the Zhinvali water reservoir. Ananuri castle was a scene of many battles through the centuries. It was protecting the surrounding lands from the numerous invaders, coming from the Darial gorge. Now it is a peaceful place, famous for its outstanding views on the surrounding mountains. We will prolong our way along the Georgian Military Road, pass through the Gudauri Ski resort (one of the most popular in Georgia). Our next stop will be at Jvari pass (also known as a Cross pass) famous for its outstanding views and also travertine terraces. We’ll make lots of photos of the surroundings and also try the mineral water. Then we’ll prolong our way towards Kazbegi. Each turn of the road gives us a new stunning view. Soon we’ll reach the small town of Stepantsminda. This place is known as a best observation point giving a fantastic view of the gorgeous Kazbegi mountain, Caucasus and emerald alpine meadows. The height of Kazbegi is 5033 meters. We will go up to the on the 4x4 cars. The church is situated on the right bank of the river Chkheri, at an elevation of 2170 meters (7120 feet), under Mount Kazbegi. Aer leaving the capital of Georgia, we will prolong our way to the Gombori pass. This is a picturesque road with lots of turns, which goes through the Tsiv-Gombori range straight to Kakhe. This path is beauful at any me of the year. The highest altude is 1991 meters above the sea level, so be prepared to the changes of the air pressure. We will stop at the pass, to make several breathtaking photos. In 2 hours of drive from Tbilisi we will find the Ikalto Monastery. It was founded by Saint Zenon, one of the 13 Syrian Fathers, in the late 6th century. Ages ago it was one of the most significant cultural-scholasc centers of Georgia. Besides the monastery, the center included the academy. The students studied here theology, rhetoric, astronomy, philosophy, geography, geometry channg but also more praccal skills such as poery making, metal work, viculture and wine making and pharmacology. According to a legend the famous 12th century Georgian poet studied there. They say, that there are secret undiscovered tunnels, dug under the monastery, that sll can exist. In 12 km from here we’ll stop to explore the . It was found by the Assyrian monk Joseph Alaverdeli. Alaverdi Cathedral was the tallest religious building in Georgia, unl the construcon of the Holy Trinity Cathedral of Tbilisi. Then we’ll drive to Tsinandaly, famous for its gardens and historic winery which once belonged to the 19th-century aristocrat Alexander Chavchavadze. The place itself is charming and beauful and managed to secure the incredible and peaceful atmosphere of the ancient country estate. Alexander Chavchavadze constructed a new palace in the Italian style and built a decorave garden. It was the place where Chavchavadze frequently entertained foreign guests with music, wit, and – most especially – the fine vines made at his estate marani (winery). The fortress was built to protect the Borjomi gorge from enemies who tried to conquer these territories from the south. First the rocks covered the inside part of the building from the enemy’s eyes. The monastery by itself was connected to the surface by several secret passages — tunnels. The whole selement was hiding behind a huge rock. That me Vardzia consisted of about 600 rooms. There were temples, living cells, food warehouses, and a library. And once even the lile Queen Tamar was lost (and successfully found) in that labyrinth. The fortress was designed in such a way that it was completely invisible from the outside. However, the earthquake that shook the area in the 13th century, exposed the fortress-monastery, dropping a large block of rock down to the gorge. This mysterious place is called Uplistsikhe. Its history dates back to the II-I millennium BC. In the era of Late Antiquity, it was a thriving and influential religious, political and cultural center. We will walk along the streets carved into the rock, pass magnificent cave temples, halls, dwellings and utility rooms. People finally abandoned this settlement only in the 19th century AD. Ages ago this amazing city was consisted of more than 700 underground premises, but only 150 have reached our days. Afterwards we’ll return back to Tbilisi. Kutaisi have a rich history, full of legends, amazing and sometimes tragic stories. In Kutaisi we will visit . It is a is a medieval monastic complex, which was found in the 12th century. The monastery was found by David the Builder during period, and considered to be a masterpiece of the Georgian Golden Age. Gelati is still a functioning church. Afterwards we’ll stop at , masterpiece of the medieval Georgian architecture, which was built in the 11th century. Bagrati Cathedral was built during the reign of King Bagrat III and was considered to be the main temple of his kingdom. Our next stop will be at the Prometheus Cave. This wonderful monument was named in honor of Prometheus, who according to the legend was chained to the rock at this place. Cave is located 7km from Tskaltubo Health Resort and was discovered only in 1983 year. The length of the cave is 1.5 km, and the depth is 145 m, it has 15 halls and a river with waterfalls. The most ancient layers of the cave are millions of years old. There is a lake, river and waterfall hidden in a cave. The mysterious dark lake surface is curved by the small boats.
