WHAT TO LOOK FOR – WEEK 6

5-0 STARTS: Four teams – ATLANTA, CINCINNATI, DENVER and GREEN BAY – have reached the 5-0 mark so far in 2015. CAROLINA (4-0) and NEW ENGLAND (4-0) aim to join that list in Week 6, as the Panthers travel to Seattle and the Patriots visit Indianapolis.

The NFL record for the most 5-0 teams in a single season is five, which was set in 2009.

CLIMBING BACK: Since the current playoff system (12 teams) was instituted in 1990, 15 teams have rebounded from being at least three games under .500 after the season’s first five weeks or later to qualify for the postseason. That includes six 1-4 teams that won their division.

Most recently, the 2014 Carolina Panthers bounced back from a 5-8-1 record after 14 games to win the NFC South en route to a 27-16 win against Arizona in the Wild Card round.

Since 1990, the teams that were three or more games below .500 after Week 5 or later and made the playoffs:

AARON RODGERS: Green Bay quarterback has passed for 29,814 yards in his 11-year career and needs 186 yards against the Chargers in Week 6 to reach 30,000 passing yards.

Rodgers, who has 3,628 career pass attempts, can surpass Pro Football Hall of Famer (3,695 attempts) by reaching 30,000 passing yards in the fewest attempts of any player in NFL history.

Rodgers will play in his 116th career game and aims to become the fourth-fastest player to reach the milestone in terms of games played. Rodgers’ 115 games played include seven contests at the beginning of his career in which he appeared in relief of in a backup role from 2005 to 2007.

TOM BRADY: New England quarterback has passed for 1,387 yards with 11 and no for an NFL-best 121.5 .

Brady aims to extend his streak of 11 passes without an to begin this season when the Patriots visit Indianapolis on Sunday night. HARD CHARGER: San Diego’s PHILIP RIVERS is poised to start his 150th consecutive regular-season game at quarterback for the Chargers in Week 6 at Green Bay.

Rivers would become the fourth quarterback in NFL history to start at least 150 consecutive regular-season games. Only (172) of the New York Giants has a longer active streak.

WEEK 6: RAVENS AT 49ERS CARDINALS AT STEELERS CHIEFS AT VIKINGS

The 2015 NFL regular-season schedule features 19 Super Bowl rematches as part of the year-long celebration of Super Bowl 50, which will be played on Sunday, February 7, 2016 at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California.

In Week 6, the Ravens will travel to take on the 49ers Sunday in a rematch of Super Bowl XLVII, won by the Ravens 34- 31. The Steelers will host the Cardinals in a rematch of Super Bowl XLIII, which the Steelers won 27-23. The Chiefs will face the Vikings in a rematch of Super Bowl IV, which the Chiefs won 23-7. Rematches are part of the NFL’s On The Fifty platform, designed to link the past 49 Super Bowls with this year’s game and honor the teams, players, coaches, fans and communities that have been a part of those games.
