As usual we will have outstanding China from Large Dragons, Dowagers with 1894 issues in sets, blocks; a Mollendorf set, Dowager surcharged Small Figures set of 9 in blocks of four. Red Revenues with the wonderfully scarce 2c on 3c inverted surcharge with original gum, large 4c on 3c block of six NH/LH, $5 on 3c original gum. Choice ROC including 1912 Waterlow overprints in VF NH blocks of four, Taiwan First Flying Geese set unused plus used blocks. Japan with classic range including 1874 6 sen Violet Brown specimen overprint. Also Ryukyu with the rare 7 sen Kume Shima with First Day Cancel. We have assembled over 520 outstanding U.S. and Worldwide lots of collections and specialized studies from estates and private collectors - one of the largest Worldwide holdings we have ever offered. Don't forget our ever popular large box lots too! Worldwide contains another selection of scarce to rare booklets from the huge holding we are still breaking up. Individual countries comprise a highly specialized collection of Argentina from earlies to 1990; Brazil with VF and rare used block of four of the 1850 600Rs. 'Verticais': France contains a VF deluxe proof of the 1927 Strasbourg souvenir sheet, an imperf PEXIP sheet LH, etc. Germany contains earlier booklets galore plus Zeppelins and extensive Do-X flight covers for the specialist. British Empire is well represented and contains a VF leather bound copy of The Royal Philatelic Collection (the holidays are coming!). A large selection of Nepal postal history from an original holding is on offer; also an exceptional Poland POW collection of Camp Mail and individual rarities, most signed by Kronenberg, Mikulski. Yemen contains reconstructed sheets of the first issues, a specialized postmark collection with some really rare strikes and postal history. Tibet ex. Bornmann. CONDITIONS OF SALE 1. All bids are per lot numbered in the catalog: the right is reserved to withdraw any lot prior to sale, or to act on behalf of the seller. Lots will be grouped only at the discretion of the auctioneer; his/her decision is final. 2. The auctioneer shall regulate the bidding and reserves the right to refuse any bid believed by the auctioneer not to be made in good faith; in the event of a dispute, the decision of the auctioneer shall be final. Auctioneer shall not be liable for any errors or omissions in the execution of telephone bids taken during the auction. Unreasonably limited bid sheets cannot be accepted; your "limit" should represent a significant percentage of your total bid sheet (i.e. bidding on 20 items for a total of $500 and limiting the total of your purchase to $50). 3. The highest bidder shall prevail at one advance over the second highest bidder. Unlimited or buy bids are not accepted. 4. There is a 15% buyer’s premium added to the hammer price. 5. Phone bids, internet bids and faxes are accepted until 5:00PM the day before the auction. No bids accepted the day of sale. 6. No bids are accepted for less than 50% of the ECV. In event of identical mail bids, the earliest received shall prevail. No unsigned bid sheets are accepted. Use the bid sheet in the catalog. Observe the bidding increments. Bid in US dollars. 7. All phone bids must be confirmed in writing. We will act on behalf of the mail bidder and will enter all bids via mail or telephone with due diligence. However, we accept no responsibility for errors in either understanding or executing bids. Phone bids made within 7 days of auction by bidders unknown to us must be secured by Visa, Master Card or American Express numbers and expiration date. You must confirm phone bids by sending your SIGNED bid sheet to our FAX # (407) 645-4434. NOTE: Customers bidding on the phone during the auction will be charged a minimum of $10 for domestic calls, and a minimum of $20 for overseas calls. Daytime hotel rates apply. Phone bidders must fax or e-mail a copy of the bid sheet, signed and with valid credit card number listed, showing lot numbers they wish to be called for. Reservations for phone bidders are limited. If we do not receive a signed bid sheet with a valid credit card listed, we will be unable to add you to the reservation list. Customers bidding on the phone are subject to all the same requirements and conditions as all other bidders. PAYMENT (See Credit Rules on Page 6) 8. The terms of sale are strictly cash on delivery to the winner unless other arrangements have been made prior to the auction. State sales tax must be paid as appropriate; dealer Florida tax number must be on file. 9. Successful bidders are expected to make payment in full before lots are delivered, immediately upon notification. All foreign bidders must make payment in US funds drawable upon a U.S. bank. Bidders who have established credit or who supply acceptable philatelic reference may have lots forwarded in advance of payment, though first purchases from all new bidders must be prepaid. Bidders who have established credit are expected to remit on receipt. No claims or returns accepted for any reason (except authenticity) after 14 days of receipt. Proof by the auctioneer of receipt of sending at the address submitted with the bid sheet shall constitute delivery. Lots paid for by American Express, Visa or Mastercard are shipped at once, subject to credit verification. 10. Until paid in full, all lots remain the property of MICHAEL ROGERS, INC. on behalf of the seller. If payment is not received on time, we have the option to offer any lot to the underbidder. Auctioneer reserves the right to dispose of all lots without notice to the defaulting buyer if payment is not made under the terms specified herein, and the defaulting buyer agrees to pay the reasonable costs of such subsequent sales; should a lower price be obtained, the defaulting buyer further agrees to pay any such difference to the auctioneer. LATE REMITTANCE MAY BE CONSIDERED JUST CAUSE TO REVOKE ALL RETURN PRIVILEGES.
