TASA students participate in school-wide model Seder, led by Rabbi Yossi Marrus.

TASA STUDENTS SHINE AT THIS YEAR’S MODEL SEDER Torah Academy of San Antonio students participate in TASA’s annual model Seder. The model seder, coordinated by Rabbi Yossi Marrus, is an opportunity for the entire student body to get together and share what they have been learning in preparation for Passover, while enjoying the sights, sounds, and tastes of a Passover Seder. The Seder was led by the upper middle school students, assisted by the 5th and 6th graders, who provided commentary. The elementary school students added to the program with per- formances and songs. As Rabbi Nimchinsky (Head of School) explained, the Passover Seder is one of the most successful learning experiences in human history. It is a child centered, multi-sensory, learning-by-doing lesson plan, whose lessons still resonate around the globe after over 3300 years.
