Dutch-Bangia Bank Limited Human Resources Division DBBL/l00/014/2020/3688 March 23, 2020 Office Order No. 45/2020 Subject: Initiative to be taken by the Bank to prevent the pandemic of "CORONA VIRUS". Banking Regulatory & Policy Department, Bangladesh Bank, Head Office, Dhaka vide their BRPD circular no. 5 dated March 22, 2020 (Annexure-A) has instructed to follow some instructions to prevent Corona Virus. In this regard, the following steps have been taken by the Bank: 1. Mosharraf Hossain SVP & Head Member Secretary Besides, 9 (nine) different "Quick Response Teams" has been formed as per country's division- wise to handle the emergency situation list enclosed (Annexure-B). These Teams will keep close contact with the CQRT regarding Corona issues. 2. The following items have been defined the Emergency Banking Services of the bank: • Cash Receive/ Payment (Over the Counter); • ATM/ Fast Track (FT); • Call Centre; • Internet Banking service; • Nexus Pay, e-Cornmerce, Rocket related service; • pas related Service; • Card related Service; • Agent Banking Service; • Remittance Service. 3. The bank management has given emphasize in the "On Line Banking Service" so that customers can avail banking service though Mobile/Internet Banking, Hotline/Call center. Head of ITOD, Head of ADC & Head of PA & BCD are instructed to take necessary action for ensuring following issues: • Distributing of Posters to the Branches/FTs as per contents designed by CQRT. • Send SMS notifications to the customer as per contents designed by CQRT. All officials of the Branch/ Division (except Division with roster duty, like ITOD, ADCD, FT, Call center etc) are divided into two sets. Group-Ol, officials is under concerned Branch Manager/ Divisional Head and Group-02, officials under concerned Deputy Manager/ Deputy Head. They will send the list of the officials of the group to Human Resources Division and they will remain on duty as under; a) Group-Ol will attend office on March 24-25 & 29-31. (Group-02 will be on Roster) b) Group-02 will attend office on April 01- 02 & 05-07. (Group-Ol will be on Roster) Moreover, those officials who are staying at home in under Rotation; they must connect to office for purpose of official work and always ready to join in the office if needed. The Deputy Manager & Deputy Head of the Division will run the branch/division in consultation with the respective Branch Manager/Divisional Head while they are on roaster duty. Branch Manager/Divisional Head will keep close contact with the Deputy Manager/Deputy Head during his/her roster period. 5. If any official or any of his family member is infected with Corona Virus/ found the symptoms of Corona Virus / come in close contact with infected person, he/she will be on mandatorily Quarantine Leave for 14 days (subject to submission of medical certificate) as pre-recommendation by the Branch Manager/Divisional Head. The list of those employees will send to HRDtime to time by concern manager/head of division. 6. Arrangement of Seminar/Meeting except emergency will be avoided as much as possible. To arrange a meeting in case of emergency, the Protocol of WHO in this regard to be followed. No one will visit other places/Offices from his own Office without proper approval of the competent authority. In this circumstances, no one will go out of the country to attend any seminar/meeting or for personal/official purpose. 7. To discourage visiting/coming of the external persons to the bank, letters /documents to be accepted / distributed through a responsible person of bank's branches/sub-branches & Head Office. Letters /documents must be received at central dispatch or at the entrance of the branch with a responsible official of the branch/division and he will distribute the same to the respective section of the branch. GSD is instructed to provide necessary logistic support in this regard. 8. Necessary equipments to be arranged in the entrance of all Offices of Branch/Division/Sub-Branch/ Agent to detect corona infected person. GSD is instructed to provide necessary support in this regard. 9. The internal paths of movement, door handles, lift & other places which will come in touch with hand of all Offices of Branch/Division/Sub-Branch/Agent to be kept neat & clean (sterilize) regularly before & after opening of the working day and after every alternate hour during the working day. GSD is instructed to provide necessary logistic support in this regard. Adequate number of hand sanitizer, covered dustbin, Tissue Paper to be arranged in every Floor/Department of all Offices of Branch/Division/Sub-Branch/ Agent. GSD is instructed to provide necessary logistic support in this regard. 11. Branches are advised to isolate a place for exchanging money /transfer & sorting and arrange for necessary sterilization of that place. 12. Visitors not related to banking activities should be discouraged. Social distance (as per guideline of WHO) should be maintained by the officials/customers in the bank. 13. All kind of Marketing/Sales activities should be conducted using digital marketing platform. 14. To prevent Corona Virus and to increase awareness, Leaflet/Poster will be prepared accommodating the instructions of Ministry of Health, WHO & IEDCR on "Preventive Measures to combat Corona Virus" and will be set up the same in the visible place of every Floor of the Branch /Regional/Divisional/Head Office and will be monitored regularly by Branch Managers/ Divisional Heads. Head of PA&BCD is advised to take necessary action in consultation with CQRT. 15. All kind of Evening banking activities will remain suspended and bank will remain close on Friday and Saturday except the Division of Head Office with roaster duty like ITOD, ITSD, COD, ADCD, H, Call center, etc This is for kind information of all concerned. This order will come into enforce immediately.
