Project Proponent Details M/s. The Company is steadily growing and is operating profitably. It is being managed by the experienced Professionals heading various functions. Availability of good infrastructure facilities like engineering services: skilled manpower and market demand have justified the setting up of this industry at the said location. Persons with strong research and marketing background are appointed to manage the company professionally right from inception. 2 | Page Dindi Chemical and Pharma Park 2.2 Brief Description of Nature of the Project: The synthetic organic chemicals manufacturing will involve series of chemical reactions to get the final Product. The products of reaction are purified, filtered and dried before packing as the final product. The Chemical reactions require various supporting services like Heating, Cooling and Agitation etc. 2.3 Need for the project and its importance to the country and or region: World population is growing at an alarming rate. In the Indian sub continent also, population growth is more than that of developed countries. To meet the needs and comforts of ever-growing population, industrialization became inevitable. For the growing population the needs of health care substitutes are also increasing. The proposed project caters the Medical needs of the population 2.4 Demands-Supply Gap: The project is envisaged to meet the demand supply gap in both domestic market and export market, as API demand is increasing day by day. 2.5 Imports Vs. Indigenous Production: The project shall enhance the foreign exchange reserves in view of the proposed products. 2.6 Domestic/export Markets: The products shall cater to both domestic and export markets. 2.7 Employment Generation (Direct and Indirect) due to the project: The present project for manufacturing of Synthetic Organic Chemicals requires substantial handling of raw materials, goods in process and finished goods. All the raw materials required for manufacturing mostly available in India or from abroad. There are no banned chemicals or products which are proposed to be used. It is proposed to enter into long term arrangements with some of the raw material suppliers both in India and overseas to avoid shortages at any time. 5 | Page Dindi Chemical and Pharma Park 3.5 Availability of water its source, energy/power requirement and source should be given The water requirement of the project during construction and operation phases ranges between 500 KL/day during construction and 13.2 MLD during operation phases. Water requirement during operation phase is for domestic, process, utilities, and facilities. The water balance during operation phase is mentioned in Table below. Guntur Department of Fisheries Government of AnDhra Pradesh The Fisheries Department, one of the important line agencies of Government of Andhra Pradesh accords top priority to f isheries development through interventions principally aimed at addressing the welfare of fishermen community and revenue generation for the State. The Department intends to undertake Stage-II development and extension of the existing fishery harbour at Nizampatnam in Guntur district with required harbour infrastructure/ facilities. The project envisages providing necessary infrastructure for facilitating and augmenting fishing activities in an environmentally responsible manner. This will help generate more employment opportunities and improve the quality of life of the local population. Nizampatnam fishery harbour geographically corresponds to latitude 15o 52'58" N, longitude 80o 38'18" E and is located in the confluence of Thunga Bhadra Channel and Nizampatnam creek along the coast of Bay of Bengal. Nizampatnam Mandal is under Tenali Revenue Division in district Guntur. The proposed project is categorized under 7 (e) – ‘B’, which attracts CRZ Notification of 2011 and EIA Notification of 2006 for which it is mandated for CRZ Clearance and also Environmental Clearance from SEIAA/ SEAC or any other extant Govt. Order/Policy relevant/ relating to the site thereof. The project is envisaged as a standalone coastal infrastructure. The proposed fish landing capacity is 62,000 TPA. The fishing harbour facilities have been designed to accommodate 1600 nos. of 10 M Motorized boats is 1000 nos ,and 500 nos 15M Trawler cum Gill Netter and 100 nos 24 M Tuna long liner Dredging of approach channel and extending / repairing and strengthening of Training Walls are included as project component.
