Tatsuno‟s thoughts on the designer were, “I guess I did influence his work, particularly in making fabrics three- dimensional, but also in not accepting the limitations of conventional „fashion.‟” My discovery on McQueen started when I attended his 2011 memorial exhibit called “Savage Beauty” at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York.
