3. Strengthening the community network for continuum of care Mternl, Newborn nd Child Helth One Stop Service Project in Zmbi 2017 The project revitalized the Local Steering Committee (LSC), which was founded in the neighborhood health committee at each site, comprised of ten members, including health service providers, community leaders, traditional leaders, teachers, SMAGs and Youth PEs. Monitoring and supervision by the District Health Ofce to support community health educational activities involving SMAGs and Youth PEs was strengthened in collaboration with the LSCs and the Adolescent Health Committee. Each site formulated a community action plan for sustainability and started income generation activities such as goat rearing , vegetable cultivation, etc. to secure the cost for maternity waiting house and costs required for continuing community health educational activities. Barry Zambia’s mining sector continued to be dominated by cobalt by 58%; beryl, 53%; emerald, 36%; and cement, 29%. Notable and copper production. In 2016, the country accounted for decreases in production included that of cobalt (Co content of 2.7% and 3.8% of world mined cobalt and copper production, mine production), which decreased by 65%; coal, 45%; refined respectively. Zambia was a leading gemstone producer globally, copper metal, 26%; raw steel, 21%; and manganese (Mn content), particularly of emerald. The country also produced cement, coal, 11%. Additionally, no bismuth was produced in 2016 because the crude steel, semiprecious gemstones, gold, lime, manganese, mineralogy of the copper ore sent to the smelter was different than refined petroleum products, sand and gravel, silver, stone, and that of previous years. Increased production of refined cobalt and sulfur (Flanagan, 2018; Shedd, 2018). copper metal was a result of increased imports of concentrates for processing (table 1; China Nonferrous Metal Mining (Group) Minerals in the National Economy Corporation Ltd., 2017, p. 30). Five specific studies were conducted to examine different parts of this overall study: Miombo woodland utilization, management and conflict resolution among stakeholders; species- stem curves as a tool in sampling the development of Miombo woodland species richness in charcoal and slash & burn regrowth stands over time; the impact of human disturbance on the floristic composition of Miombo woodland; regeneration and recruitment potentials of key Miombo woodland species after disturbance; and age and growth rate determination using selected Miombo woodland species. Different methods were developed for each specific study. -

Short title 2. Division of Zambia into Provinces and Districts CHAPTER 286 PROVINCIAL AND DISTRICT BOUNDARIES 8 of 1965 An Act to make provision for the division of the Republic into Provinces and Districts; and to provide for the boundaries of such Provinces and Districts and the names by which they shall be known. [24th October, 1964] 1. This Act may be cited as the Provincial and District Boundaries Act. Short title Copyright Ministry of Legal Affairs, Government of the Republic of Zambia The Laws of Zambia 2. The President may, by statutory order, divide Zambia into such Provinces and Division of Zambia into divide the Provinces into such Districts, as may be convenient for the purposes of Provinces and Districts administration, describing the boundaries thereof and assigning names thereto. This Order may be cited as the Provinces and Districts Boundaries (Division) Title Order. 2. The Republic of Zambia shall be divided into the Provinces mentioned in the first Provinces column of the First Schedule and such Provinces shall be known by the names therein assigned to them. 3. Each Province of the Republic of Zambia shall include and consist of the Districts Districts listed in the second column of the First Schedule and specified opposite each Province and such Districts shall be known by the names therein assigned to them.
