In this thesis, we address the problem of modeling musical influence using a dataset of 143,625 audio files and a ground truth expert-curated network graph of artist-to-artist influence consisting of 16,704 artists scraped from AllMusic.com. We explore two audio content-based approaches to modeling influence: first, we take a topic modeling approach, specifically using the Document Influence Model (DIM) to infer artist-level influence on the evolution of musical topics. We find the artist influence measure derived from this model to correlate with the ground truth graph of artist influence. Second, we propose an approach for classifying artist-to-artist influence using siamese convolutional neural networks trained on mel-spectrogram representations of song audio. We find that this approach is promising, achieving an accuracy of 0.7 on a validation set, and we propose an algorithm using our trained siamese network model to rank influences.

  • Christian Church in Ohio 2018 Advent Devotional
Christian Church in Ohio DISCIPLES OF CHRIST A covenant network of congregations in mission: We are the Body of Christ gifted and called in covenant together as Disciples of Christ to be centers of transformation on the new mission frontier of our own communities 2018 Advent Devotional First Day of Advent Sunday, December 2nd Advent Lighting Please read Jeremiah 33:14-16 Advent is a time of expectation, and this is symbolized not only by the four-week period of preparation, but also by the lighting of an Advent candle on each Sunday of the season. The flame of each new candle reminds the worshiper that something is happening, but something more is still to come. The Advent season will not be complete until all four candles are lighted, with the central Christ candle also burning brightly on Christmas Eve. The tradition of the Advent wreath is traced back to an old Scandinavian custom that celebrated the coming of light after a season of darkness. In that day candles were placed on the edge of a horizontal wheel. As the wheel was spun around, the lighted candles would blend into a continuous circle of light. Today we use a circle of evergreen to remind us of the continuous power of God, which knows no beginning nor ending. There is also symbolism in the colors of the candles in the Advent wreath. The three purple, or white, candles symbolize the coming of Christ from the royal line of David. He is coming as the King of Kings as well as the Prince of Peace.

WITH HERITAGE FLAVOR CHRONICLE BETWEEN PHOTOGRAPHS OF PUBLIC AND PRIVATE SPACES OF VENEZUELAN CUISINE ABSTRACT Against the discourse of cultural plurality denial and its heritage as patrimony, through this essay we invite the reader to refl ect on the relationship between city, urban culture, cuisine, history and subjectivity, as sites for Vene- zuelan identity expression.

The loss of life with families unable to grieve properly, the loss of jobs and business failures, the stress that many frontline workers find themselves under and the restrictions on worship has left us little to laugh about. • Christmas Day Worship Booklet
Merry Christmas Hephatha Family, For the past four weeks we have been in the season of Advent. Advent is when we get ready to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ. On Christmas day we celebrate the birth of the Christ Child that we have been anxiously awaiting during advent. If you have an advent wreath, at the beginning of each section of carols and lessons, you will be instructed to light one of the candles until finally we culminate with the celebration of Christmas. In addition to this booklet, there is a special Christmas message that can be found on our website at Hephatha.net/christmas-day, available through links to our Facebook page and our YouTube channel. If you would like to sing along with Mr. Cooper for the carols, a link to his recording of the carols can be found at Hephatha.net/christmas-day. After each carol pause the video as the video is one long video with each carol, one after another. You can also sing these carols to your favorite version or without music as well. Each section has a reading, devotional thought, questions, some have actions, and a carol to sing. May Christ abide in your hearts in the New Year. Blessings to you and yours on this Christmas day, Pastor Arthur, Vicar Timothy, Mr. Cooper and the Ministry team 2 THE REASON (If you have an advent wreath light the first candle) Reading Genesis 3:1-13 The Fall Now the serpent was more crafty than any other beast of the field that the Lord God had made.
