Exotic Car Spot The Venture: The name of my business is “Exotic Car Spot” and we are a supercar dealership bringing you the world’s fastest and most luxurious cars. I named my business this because exotic means exciting and fun in my mind which is all my company offers. My business is special because we will have your most common supercar like a to European brands such as Pagani. Brands such as Rolls Royce will also be sold at my dealership, but mainly supercars are what we will offer. We will have 1 location based out of LA. LA was our preferred location because there it is warm year-round, there are nice roads to drive on, there is lots of money, and status is a big thing so people will want our high-end cars. Since we were having a very hard time finding a building in LA for our dealership, I will make up a building with an approximate price, square footage, and cost for lease-hold improvements. The lease and lease hold improvements will be listed on the income sheet. I am going to renovate my 6000 square foot building in LA, or to be more specific, Beverly Hills. The Product or Service: My business will sell supercars (very expensive vehicles that reach very high speeds) and other luxury vehicles such as Rolls Royce. Our dealership offers special car brands such as Koenigsegg and Pagani which aren’t usually found in LA, we import them specially to cater to our customers needs. Also, we are willing to ship to any location in North America for a fee based on how far we have to deliver it. Lastly, we will do anything and everything to get you the car you desire. Our commitment to our customers also sets us apart because we give our customers a very personalized experience. To attract customers and make our business that much better, we will offer free mobile detailing for the first year of owning the car. While selling cars isn’t new we offer a large variety of cars all in one spot. Obviously we will need to make money on the cars we sell - so we will mark the cars prices up at the dealership. I decided these prices based on prices we could get straight from the factory. We have a special arrangement with the luxury brands to buy the cars for cheaper than we will sell them for. To get our brand out there we will buy billboard space in richer and more luxurious parts of the city so people who may be able to afford our cars will see it. Also we will showcase our business at tradeshows and car shows etc. such as Barret Jackson. Celebrity exposure with the cars will be another key way in advertising our product. We will work with television and movie studios to get our business

1 promoted through film. Finally, we will use social media as a strategy to help get our dealership out there. Social media is growing and is the best way to reach our targeted customer base. We will be active on Facebook and Instagram in our first year. Our website will be a main way to showcase our proudcts. My dealership will sell outside of our city of which it is located by delivering with a fee based on travel distance.

Marketing and Prices: People who live the luxurious life, enjoy thrills, and have a solid amount of money will be our customers! I say this because all vehicles in my dealership are very expensive to the average person. All of our vehicles will run you over $100 000 but can be in the millions depending on which car your buying. Such high prices will attract rich people to our business and that is another reason we are based out of LA. Pagani, Aston Martin, , Lamborghini, Koenigsegg, Porsche, Alfa Romeo, Jaguar, Audi, BMW, Lexus, and Rolls Royce are many of the car brands we will offer customers. Not always will we have these cars in stock, because if one is sold we will need to order a new one which depending on the car, could take a while. Our retail price is 14% more than our factory price we buy the vehicle for. Depending on how hard working the salesman is I could give them a small portion of the equity. 1 salesman, 3 part time security guards, 1 receptionist and the owner/manager (myself) are the only employees we will have to start. Salesman (sometimes on $20.00 p/h + commission 40 Hour work week/Flexible hours may be required to vacation meaning either (Budget $40 000 salary work more x 50 the owner/manager plus commission of 3% per would fill in or the vehicle sold) 3 Part Time Security $15.00 p/h 40 Hour work week X 52 Guards (Budget $31 200 per year) Receptionist (sometimes $15.00 p/h 40 Hour work week x 50 weeks plus hire a on vacation meaning one (Budget $40 000 salary per temporary worker for 2 would worker would fill in year plus $1,200 for weeks for the time being) temporary worker) Mobile Detailing $15.00 p/h + tips 30 Hour work week Specialist (Budget $23,400) Owner/Manager $35.00 p/h + dividends 40 Hour work week/Flexible hours and will much more

Day-to-Day: Our hours of operation can change based on vacations, peak sale times, and other possible reasons. Straight from the manufacturer is where we will buy the cars to sell at our dealership. We won’t need many supplies for my business but cars are obviously our main part of supplies we will need. Also we will need cleaning supplies and a vehicle for our mobile detailing unit. Our cars will mainly be sold at our dealership in LA but high-end tradeshows and personalized experiences with the customers are a couple more ways we will sell our cars. Monday Tuesday Wednesday Thursday Friday Saturday Sunday 12 p.m. - 12 p.m. – 12 p.m. – 7 12 p.m. – 12 p.m. – Closed Closed 7 p.m. 7 p.m. p.m. 7 p.m. 7 p.m.

We are closed weekends like the chart says above but like we said, our business is very personalized so we will cater to our customer’s needs if that’s when they are available. Money Plans: To startup our business we will need $64 884 095 dollars. We got this price by adding all of our cars, mobile detailing unit, and necessary improvements to the dealership. For our dealership we will be getting a 5 year lease on the building. To pay for all the cars a private investor is going to help fund us. All other expenses will be taken care of with a bank loan and personal savings.

Reasoning: I chose this business because I love the anatomy of cars and how they work. Also I enjoy seeing top speeds, interiors, and innovative and creative body designs and looks! In the future I probably would consider starting a business like this except for the fact that I don’t have millions of dollars to start it.
