Schools’ Forum is a statutory consultative and decision making body Audience: All made up of elected representatives from both school and non-school settings. Purpose: For information and action The Schools’ Forum meets at least four times a year and the following dates are agreed for 2019/20: 6th February 2020 and 11th June 2020.

1.5. CDM Regulations for Schools

Health & Safety & Building Projects Audience: Head teacher

If your school is currently undertaking or is going to undertake building Purpose: Awareness of works you need to be aware of CDM (Construction design management CDM regulations 2015) these regulations stipulate that Health and Safety is Regulations taken into account at every stage of the build and for the life span of the building. Everyone involved in planning, funding and building of the project has a role under CDM regulations. This includes the school. 2.2. Macclesfield SEND Youth Forum

Date: Thursday 6th January Audience: The SEND Time: 6-8pm Youth Forum is Venue: Macclesfield Hub, 33 Great King Street, Macclesfield, SK11 6PN available for all Young People The SEND Youth Forum meet twice a month and is an opportunity for with additional Young People who have additional needs or disabilities to meet in a safe needs or environment to socialise and meet new people, have their say on local disabilities issues and services and take part in fun and creative learning aged 11-25 opportunities. This is available for all Young People aged 11-25 years years who have diagnosed or undiagnosed special needs, learning needs or disabilities. The ‘Reading Well for Children’ programme recommends reading to help Audience: Schools, children understand their feelings and worries and cope with tough times.
