Inauguration of NTR Sujala Cluster Plant in Amaravathi Region by Hon’ble CM Sri Nara Chandrababu Naidu HIGHLIGHTS
1. Hon’ble Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh Sri Nara Chandrababu Naidu and Minister for IT, Rural Development & Panchayat Raj Sri Nara Lokesh launched 2 Sujala Cluster Plants at Venkatayapalem in Amaravathi Capital City under NTR Sujala Scheme. NTR Trust’s Sujala Cluster will provide safe drinking water at Rs.2/- for 20 litres round the clock to all the 29 villages in Amaravathi Capital region. 2. NTR Trust’s Sujala Cluster Model gets state level recognition. RWS&S department lauded the efforts of NTR Trust and extended an invitation to become the Technical Resource Partner (TRP) for their drinking water supply projects. As TRP, NTR Trust will share its proprietary designs, know-how, technology and knowledge about Cluster Model with RWS&S of GoAP on a pro bono basis. The engagement will enable NTR Trust to scale up the Cluster Model under GoAP’s Sujala Scheme. With the partnership, 2000 villages will be provided with safe drinking water in the next one year. The MoU was signed by Mr. T.Prabhakar Rao, Chief Engineer - RWS&S and Mr. T. Vishnu Vardhan, CEO of NTR Trust in the presence of Jawahar Reddy Principal Secretary, Panchayat Raj and Rural Development, Engineer -in-Chief RWS&S and Sujala Team of NTR Trust.

On the occasion of Mahanadu 2017, NTR Trust conducted a Voluntary Blood Donation Camp, Emergency & First Aid Centre, showcased NTR Sujala’s Cluster Model and activities of all the verticals. 4. NTR Trust’s 1st Skill Development Center (SDC) in Andhra Pradesh launched @ Vinukonda. This SDC was inaugurated by Hon’ble Speaker of AP Legislative Assembly Dr. Kodela Siva Prasad. Shri Rayapati Sambasiva Rao- MP Narasaraopet, Shri G V Anjaneyulu - MLA-Vinukonda and other guests graced the occasion. Mr. T. Vishnu Vardhan - CEO of NTR Trust & NTR Trust team welcomed the dignitaries and guests. 5. NTR Trust has received donations from Yalavarthi Vamshi Krishna (MD of Yalavarthi Projects), Ganapathineedu Srinivas, Dr. Jayachandra Naidu (Vizag), Dr. Sudha Rani, E.Shankar Rao. We are grateful to them.

NTR Model School Alumni Meet 2017 at NTR Model School, Gandipet Key Activities: 1. NTR Trust organized an Alumni meetup at NTR Model School, Gandipet, Hyderabad. NTR Trust CEO, Mr. T.Vishnu Vardhan welcomed the gathered alumni and all the invitees. He mentioned that critical thinking is a must for all to reduce the gap between theory and practice. He also explained the significance of Alumni reunion for the growth of the institution and individuals. School Principal, Mr. S.J.Reddy shared nostalgic memories with the students. About 350 old students attended the alumni wmeeting. Some old students shared their experience as well as interesting moments of campus life. As part of the entertainment program, games were organized and prizes were distributed. Old students of NTR Model School decided to form an Alumni association and will work towards social service complementing NTR Trust. 2. NTR Trust organized a free residential training program for aspiring teachers to help them augment their teaching skills. 50 qualified teachers (holding B.Ed) with no prior teaching experience, were short listed for the training through a selection test. During the 10-day free residential teacher training sessions, candidates were exposed to modern teaching methods and hands-on experience. The teacher traning camp was held at NTR Model School Campus at Gandipet, Hyderabad from 27 April to 06 May, 2017.

IT & Panchayat Raj Minster Sri Nara Lokesh receiving certificate for his blood donation at Mahanadu 2017 Key Activities: 1. NTR Trust team participated in Mahanadu 2017, Visakhapatnam. We have set up Voluntary Blood Donation Camp, Emergency & First Aid Care Centre. Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister, Shri Nara Chandrababu Naidu inaugurated Sujala Safe Drinking Water Model Plant. He visited the stalls put up by all the verticals of NTR Trust. We showcased the work we are doing under Empowerment & Livelihoods, Language Arts & Culture, NTR Sujala & Education in these stalls. 2. NTR Trust celebrated World Blood Donor Day(WBDD) in Hyderabad, Guntur & Visakhapatnam. At the WBDD event in Hyderabad, NTR Trust felicitated volunteer donors, camp organizers, corporates & Institutional Partners. Shri Kingshuk Nag, Ex Resident Editor of Times of India and a recipient of the prestigious Prem Bhatia Memorial Award for Excellence in Political Reporting and Analysis, was the chief guest of the event. He mentioned that it is necessary to celebrate WBDD to remove the ignorance, fear and misconceptions of the general public towards voluntary blood donation. Mr. T. Vishnu Vardhan, CEO of NTR Trust gave an update on the achievements of NTR Trust Blood Banks and shared the key plans ahead. He stated that NTR Trust Blood Banks stand for highest quality and service in the twin Telugu states. 3. During May and June 2017, various organizations and individuals have come forward to spontaneously donate blood. We salute their amazing spirit and thank the institutions, employees,

and well-wishers for giving us the opportunity to contribute to the noble cause of free-willed blood donation.
Our Trustee Sri Nara Brahmani inaugurated a Medical Camp at Khammam 4. During May and June 2017, NTR Trust organized free Medical Camps across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, wherein people were given free health checkup and medicines. The purpose of these free health camps is to carry out Health Assessment, spread Health Awareness and provide Health Counselling.

Sri Nara lokesh handing over the first Sujala drinking water can to a villager 1. Hon’ble Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh Sri Nara Chandrababu Naidu and Minister for IT, Rural Development & Panchayat Raj Sri Nara Lokesh launched 2 Sujala Cluster Plants at Venkatayapalem in Amaravathi Capital City under NTR Sujala Scheme. NTR Trust’s Sujala Cluster will provide safe drinking water to all the 29 villages in Amaravathi Capital region. The 29 villages will be covered with 42 Remote Dispensation Units from which people can draw 20 litres of purified drinking water at Rs.2/- by swiping a smart card, round the clock 24/7. 2. NTR Trust’s Sujala Cluster Model gets state level recognition. Senior officials from Dept of Rural Water Supply and Sanitation Dept (RWS&S) of GoAP examined NTR Trust’s Cluster Model including its unique features of real-time tracking of water quality, distribution, consumption by people etc. The department lauded the efforts of NTR Trust and extended an invitation to become the Technical Resource Partner (TRP) for their drinking water supply projects. Key Activities:
1. NTR Trust’s 1st Skill Development Center (SDC) in Andhra Pradesh launched @ Vinukonda. This SDC was inaugurated by Hon’ble Speaker of AP Legislative Assembly Dr. Kodela Siva Prasad. Shri Rayapati Sambasiva Rao- MP Narasaraopet, Shri G V Anjaneyulu - MLA-Vinukonda and other guests graced the occasion.Mr. T.Vishnu Vardhan-CEO of NTR Trust & team welcomed the dignitaries and guests.The launch of this centre is a step forward in giving youth the right direction through Skill Development towards a bright future. It will increase employment opportunities for youth of Guntur District.
2. Mr. Manish Gupta, Joint Secretary, Overseas Indian Affairs, Ministry of External Affairs, Govt of India along with his team visited NTR Trust SDC Centre, Hyderabad. The main purpose of his visit is to appraise about the IISC (Indian International Skill Centre) courses being conducted at NTR Trust SDC Centre. We train students under this course to enhance capacities and pilot good practices so that they can shine in the international work environment. He interacted with the trainers and students and appreciated the state-of-art facility and the effort put in by NTR Trust to train rural youngsters to make them job-ready.

3. Mr. Ashok, Cluster HR & Mr. Srinivas, Operations Manager at Landmark Group (Max Retail) gave an interactive guest lecture for SDC students at NTR Trust SDC centre. This lecture helped candidates figure out the opportunities open to them in retail marketing. They distributed certificates to 23 candidates who successfully completed 4 weeks of free training. 4. NTR Trust in collaboration with Synchro Serve conducted “Kaushal Mela” for job aspirants. Shri Raja Singh Lodh, MLA Goshamahal was the chief guest of the event. He addressed 300 unemployed aspirants. He distributed offer letters and course completion certificates to the students of NTR Trust Skill development Centre. 5. Mr. Amarnath Rao gave an interactive guest lecture for SDC students at NTR Trust Skill Development Centre, Hyderabad. He emphasized the importance of training in individual development. He distributed certificates to 26 candidates who completed their four weeks of free training at NTR Trust SDC.
