Nara Chandra Babu Naidu garu along with other delegates in the Inaugural ceremony of Navyandhra Pustaka Sambaralu, Vijayawada HIGHLIGHTS 1. Hon'ble Vice President of India Sri M. Venkaiah Naidu & Hon'ble Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh Sri Nara Chandrababu Naidu inaugurated Navyandhra Pusthaka Sambaralu (NPS) in Vijayawada. NPS is a travelling book, cultural and literary exhibition that will tour all the 13 districts of Andhra Pradesh. NTR Trust in partnership with VBFS and Dept. of Lang & Culture, GoAP are organizing NPS. WE WORK THE TALK! ntrtrust.org|1 ​ ​ 2. NTR Trust's calendar event, Legendary Blood Donation Drive (LBD) 2018 was inaugurated by Smt. Nara Bhuvaneswari garu, Smt. Nara Brahmani garu & Smt. Hema Budaraju of Facebook at NTR Trust Bhavan, Hyderabad on 18 January. We are proud to have organized LBD at more than 300 locations across India and partnered with over 150 Blood Banks. 3. NTR Trust Managing Trustee Smt. Nara Bhuvaneswari visited Thimmapuram village of Guntur district. She took part in various village development activities and also interacted with the residents. 4. On the occasion of Padmashri, Kalatapaswi Sri Kasinathuni Vishwanath garu’s 88th Birthday, NTR Trust has organized a Voluntary Blood Donation camp in collaboration with Suvarnabhoomi Developers and Telugu Film Chamber. HEALTH Trustees Smt. Nara Bhuvaneswari & Smt. Nara Brahmani with Smt. Hema Budaraju (Product Manager, Facebook) inaugurating Legendary Blood Donation Drive - 2018 Key Activities: 1. A free health check-up camp at NTR Trust Bhavan, Hyderabad was organized in collaboration with SRI SRI HOLISTIC Hospital, Hyderabad. 148 local people were beneficiaries at the health check-up camp. 2. A Blood donation camp was organized by NTR Trust at Gajuwaka and Sri Sathya Sai Seva Mandir of Visakhapatnam in collaboration with Sai Ganesh Youth Association. 72 donors voluntarily came forward to donate blood. 3. NTR Trust's calendar event, Legendary Blood Donation Drive 2018 (LBD-2018) was inaugurated by Smt. Nara Bhuvaneswari garu and Smt. Brahmani garu at NTR Trust Bhavan, Hyderabad. NTR Trust CEO T. Vishnu Vardhan, Hema Budaraju from the Facebook team were present. LBD-2018 was held at 300+ locations throughout India. 150+ Blood Banks partnered with NTR Trust in LBD-2018. 4. NTR Trust in collaboration with MLA Velagapudi Ramakrishna Babu, MLA Bandaru Satyanarayana organized a Voluntary Blood Donation camp at Velagapudi Office, M.V.P Colony & Parawada, Visakhapatnam. This camp was WE WORK THE TALK! ntrtrust.org|2 ​ ​ organized on the occasion of Shri Nara Lokesh garu’s Birthday. 568 donors voluntarily came forward to donate blood. 5. NTR Trust in collaboration with Katuri Medical College organized Free Medical Camp at Karumanchi, Guntur district. The medical camp was organized with an objective to provide free medical examinations. 348 residents were provided with Diabetic screening, Orthopaedic, Cardiology, Pediatric, Ophthalmology, Dermatology, Gynaecology & general checkup and medicines were distributed for free. 6. A Blood donation camp was organized by NTR Trust at Pendurty, Gajuwaka & Srinagar of Visakhapatnam with support from Pendurty Pawan Fans team, Gajuwaka Youth & Akanksha Foundation Team respectively. 80 donors voluntarily came forward to donate blood. 7. A free health check-up camp at Bonekal, Khammam district was organized by NTR Trust in collaboration with local Doctors. 362 residents benefited. Doctors advised them medicines and consultation during the camp. 8. NTR Trust in collaboration with the management of Defence Academy organized 2 Voluntary Blood Donation camps at Visakhapatnam. These camps were organized on the occasion of their Chairman – Shri Vasupalli Ganesh Kumar Garu's Birthday. 333 donors voluntarily came forward to donate blood. 9. NTR Trust in collaboration with Sahrudaya Trust, organized a Free Medical Camp at Vargani, Guntur District. 265 residents were provided with free Diabetic screening, Orthopaedic, Cardiology, Gynecology & general checkup and medicines were distributed for free. 10. A Voluntary Blood Donation camp was organized on the occasion of Padmashri, Kalatapaswi Sri Kasinathuni Vishwanath garu’s 88th Birthday. Suvarnabhoomi Developers Pvt Ltd and Telugu Film Chamber, Hyderabad collaborated with NTR Trust for this Camp. 28 donors voluntarily came forward to donate blood. ​ 11. A blood donation camp was organized on the occasion of Sri Appala Narasimham Pithakamsethi (father of MLA ​ ​ Sri Ganababu garu) garu’s 82nd Jayanthi. 806 donors voluntarily came forward to donate blood. ​ ​ 12. A free health check-up camp was organised at Dammalapadu, Guntur district by NTR Trust in collaboration with Katuri Medical Hospital. 269 residents came for the health check-up and consultation. Doctors advised them various medicines during the camp. 13. Republic day was celebrated by staff and students of NTR Model Schools at Gandipet, Warangal & Challapalli with patriotic fervour. The celebrations were followed by speech of the principals at each location that reminded the students of the sacrifices made by the freedom fighters. The celebrations also showcased performances by students. NTR Trust organized a Job Drive at Omega Group of Colleges in Hyderabad on 12 February 2018. 230 youngsters from across all districts participated in the event and 59 candidates got selected. 3. NTR Trust - Started new course in Retail Sales Associates at Vinukonda on 22 February 2018 under SDC. 4. NTR Trust - Training was given to APSKWDCL Driver Partners at Vijayawada from 9th February 2018 to 11th February 2018 under EDP Program. On the occasion of Sri Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao’s (NTR) 20th Vardhanthi ( ), NTR Trust ​ వరం initiated a flagship programme called “Legendary-Blood-Donation-Drive-(LBD)”. This mega volunteer ​ ​ ​ blood donation initiative was launched by our Managing Trustee Mrs. Nara Bhuvaneswari on 11 January, 2016. 2. LBD was successfully held across 140 locations in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh on 18 January, 2016, in which 14,420 volunteer blood donors have donated blood. NTR Trust partnered with Indian Red Cross Society, Government Blood Banks,... and 80 such Blood Banks in organizing this mega event. 3. Close to 50 celebrities have come forward to support LBD. Radio Partner Red FM and Transportation Partner UBER joined hands with NTR Trust in making LBD a great success. 4. Remembering the legend Sri NTR on his 20th anniversary, a commemoration event titled “Telugu ​ vaari jnaapakam ( )” was organized on 18 January, 2016 at NTR Trust Bhavan in ​ ెలగ ాజపకం Hyderabad. As part of this a preview of the outline of NTR Museum was inaugurated by our Trustees.

This is the most valuable district level publication brought out by the Census Organisation on behalf of each State Govt./ Uni~n Territory a~ministratio~. It Intc:­ al'ia. Provides data/information on some of the basIc demographiC and socia-economic characteristics and on the availability of certain important civic amenities/facilities in each village and town of the respective districts. This publication has thus proved to' be of immense utility to the planners., administrators, academicians and researchers. The scope of the DCH was initially confined to certain important census tables on population, economic and socio-cultural aspects as also the Primary Census Abstract (PCA) of each village and town (ward wise) of the district. The DCHs published after the 1961 Census contained a descriptive account of the district, administrative statistics, census tables and Village' and Town Directories including PCA. After the 1971 Census, two parts of the District Census Handbooks (Part-A comprising Village and Town Directories and Part-B comprising, Village and Town PCA) were released in all the States and Union Territories. The thnd Part (C) of the District Census Handbooks comprising administrative statistics and district census tables, which was also to be brought out, could not be published in many States/UTs due to considerable delay in compilation of relevant material.
