2/18/2021 1 Itinerary: 13 days, days 1-4 Day 1, Wednesday Dec 29, Flight: Depart Chicago for Amman, Jordan Day 2, Thu. Dec 30, Amman: Arrive Amman, Introductory Commentary and Transfer to Beautiful Hotel for Buffet Dinner & Overnight. Day 3, Fri Dec 31, Amman: After Buffet Breakfast, Travel to see The Decapolis City of Philadelphia, The Citadel of Rabbath in Amman where Uriah was slain; River Jabbok where Jacob’s name was changed to Israel; then to visit the Decapolis City of with its Hadrian Gate; Hippodrome; Main Gate; Unique Forum; Cardo streets; Decumanus; Temples; Towers; Theaters; and much more. Lunch Break and return to Amman and evening Buffet dinner. Day 4, Sat Jan 01, : Buffet Breakfast & descend to the Jordan Valley & cross into Israel. Travel up the Jordan valley & visit Bethshan & its Gladiator Hippodrome, Theater, Cardo, Sauna Baths, Shops, Odeon, Old Mound where the bodies of Saul & Jonathan were attached to the wall of the Astarte Temple after their deaths on nearby Mt. Gilboa. Lunch Break & continue to the great fortress of Belvoir & its great views over the valleys. Then to the Baptismal site on the Jordan & on to visit Nazareth city at Mary’s well, Gabriel Church, Carpenter shops, old , Church of , Cave home of Joseph & Mary & to our Hotel with Buffet Dinner & Overnight.

2/18/2021 2 Itinerary: 13 days, days 5-7 Day 5, Sun Jan 02, Nazareth: visit Akko with its walls, crusader fortress, halls of the knights, tunnels, markets, harbor; visit Beth Shearim with its tombs of the San Hedrin; then visit Zippori & its great reservoirs, stone pavements, great Mosaics, Business Center, Citadel, Governor’s Mansion with the Mona Lisa of mosaic, etc. Return to see the Nazareth Village and have buffet dinner at hotel. Day 6, Mon Jan 03, Nazareth: depart to see the headwaters of the Jordan, Tel Dan with its walls, wilderness walk, altar of the Golden Calf, Bunkers & trenches from modern wars, gate of Abraham from times of Laish; then see Banyas & the place where met with 3 disciples & was acknowledged as the Christ; was later transfigured; then down to ; Lunch near Magdala; see St. Peter’s stone & touch water of ; visit Capernaum where Jesus lived during His 2nd year of public ministry; take a Boat Ride on Galilee, return through where Jesus attended a wedding, & on to Nazareth & an evening Buffet. Day 7, Tue Jan 04, : Visit Jezreel where Jezebel died; see area of Naboth’s vineyard & more; visit Megiddo where many battles were fought & where Armageddon begins; visit Mt Carmel where Elijah confronted of Baal. Visit & its aqueducts, walls, harbor, Crusader Fortress, Governor’s Palace, etc. Then either , Nablus & Jacob’s well OR & lunch break & continue on to Bethlehem & visit wood carver’s store on way to hotel & buffet dinner

2/18/2021 3 Itinerary: 13 days, days 8-9 Day 8, WED Jan 05, / Bethlehem: after buffet breakfast we go to the Mt. of Olives and view Jerusalem & Kidron valley. See Dominus Flevit where for Jerusalem; see where Jesus prayed & Judas betrayed. Visit Caiaphas’ Palace where Jesus was judged by the Jews; visit the Upper Room where Jesus began the Lord’s Supper, where the Spirit came to empower the Church, etc. We visit the Jewish quarter, the Cardo & the Muristan. Lunch break & then Holy Sepulcher & some of the Via Dolorosa, depart at the Damascus Gate and visit & the Garden Tomb. Then go to the Museum, the Shrine of the book, and the Model City. Return to Hotel & buffet dinner in Bethlehem. Day 9, Thu Jan 06, Jerusalem/ Bethlehem: see Pools of Solomon, then Sorek valley & Zorah of Samson & Bethshemesh where the Ark was returned, & Elah & Azeka where David slew Goliah; then on to Maresha of Micah & see the site of Lachish where Joshua, Sennacherib, Nechudnezzar, & others had military campaigns; see the underground dovecote, olive press, & water-works of Maresha; see the Zidonian tomb caves; visit the Bell-shaped caverns of Beit Guvrin. Return to Jerusalem, See Lion Gate Bethseda, 1st Stations of Via Dolorosa, Pavement & Basilicas game, Have Lunch Break in Old City, Wailing Wall, Citadel of David, Hezekiah Aqueduct, Siloam Pool, & back to Hotel in Bethlehem

2/18/2021 4 Itinerary: 13 days, days 10-11 Day 10, Fri Jan 07, : Visit the Church of Nativity and Jerome’s grotto in the cave where Jesus was born and where the Latin Vulgate was later translated. Then to Tekoa of Amos and the nearby Herodian with its fortress, towers, synagogue, basilica, great reservoirs, and the tomb of . Then visiting the Shepherd caves in Beit Sahour/ fields of Boaz; Lunch at Ruth’s Restaurant; Then see where Lazarus Lived. See the place of his tomb, from when Jesus brought him back to life; then go to Gilgal/ Hisham Palace; visit shop of Farid Masra; see the Mt. of Temptation where Satan tempted Jesus and visit the ruins of OT Jericho & then NT Jericho where Herod died. See the old Jericho Road. Go to Hotel and buffet dinner. Day 11, Sat Jan 08, Amman: Visit , taking the cable car to the top. See the walls, the tri-level palace of Herod, the Sauna, the Synagogue, the camps of the Romans, the place where the Romans broke through, the western palace, the swimming pool, & much more. Visit En Gedi where David hid from Saul; visit where studied & where the Dead Sea Scrolls were made & later hidden, not to be discovered until 1947. Then visit the Dead Sea and experience its great saline contents. Then cross the Jordan and go to Amman for buffet dinner & overnight.

2/18/2021 5 Itinerary: 13 days, days 12-13 Day 12, Sun Jan 09, Amman: Depart to travel on the King’s Highway South of Madeba, and to drive past the road to Machaerus Prison where John the Baptist was incarcerated and beheaded. To cross the Wadi Wala and to see Dibhan where Mesha, king of Moab lived. Then to see Arnon/ wadi Mojiib, with its breathtaking view, & return to Desert Highway to continue on to Shaubak & Wadi Musa to arrive at Petra. To visit the Siq, the el Khazneh, the great temples, etc. of the site. To relate to Bible passages, such as the book of Obadiah. To return to Amman and to have buffet dinner & overnight. Day 13, Mon Jan 10. Transfer to airport after Breakfast for departure to USA. Arrive USA on same day.

2/18/2021 7 Tour Conditions, slide #1 Included in Basic Tour: (1) Air Transportation: Economy class, airfares & conditions are those in effect Jan 2021 & are subject to change. (2) Hotels: Deluxe 4 & 5 star & sometimes Deluxe 3 star or Kibbutz guest house with 2 or 3 sharing with single beds. (3) Meals: 2 a day (breakfast & evening dinner) Lunch will be available as separately purchased by the tourist. (4) Sight seeing: as per itinerary in charted coaches with entrance fees to sites listed. Sometimes alterations are needed. (5) Transfers: From airports to hotels & vice versa… unless tourist provides own air & purchases land only. (6) Service charges: local service charges as placed on accommodations & meals. Porterage.

Responsibility: Additional charges: If you return individually & not with the group, there is a surcharge & applicable airfare difference. This does allow you many personal options. We will assist if needed. Christian Adventure Tours & associated companies & agents act only as agents & shall not be responsible or liable for any delay incurred by any person in connection with any means of transportation, nor for any loss, damage or injury to person or property by reason of any event beyond the control of any agency or default of such agency or suppliers. The right is reserved to substitute the type of aircraft, date of departure, alter the routing, or cancel any tour for either the entire air or land portions of the itinerary. In the event that it becomes necessary or advisable or for any reason whatsoever, to alter the itinerary or arrangements, such alterations may be made. Cancellations: A $250.00 administration fee is assessed each cancellation along with the normal charges as follows: A $200 service charge will assessed each cancellation received up to 60 days before departure. From the 59th to the 31st day prior to departure there will be an added $100 penalty. Cancellations within 30 days of departure will be charged a total of $550 plus any cancellation charges levied by the carriers and hotels and any other operational expenses. If illness or emergency forces the cancellation while travelling, Christian Adventure Tours will effect refund on actual cost of unused services, less cancellation charges as indicated above, which may amount to the entire tour cost. There will be no refunds on less than 3 days of absence from a tour, occasional missed meals, or sightseeing. All claims for refunds must be made within 30 days after termination of the tour. Participating Airlines: The service of any ATC or IATA member airline may be used in conjunction with the itineraries described in this brochure. Reservation Deadlines: Reservations with full payment must be made 90 days before departure. Later requests are first- come-first-served-space-available. Checks should be made payable to: Christian Adventure Tours. Surcharges may be added to late reservations.

Land Transportation: Where Motor coaches are specified, these are modern large-windowed vehicles with convenient speakers to hear all that the guide says. The bus load is 47 and smaller numbers may be accommodated with their own private coach. Passports: All tourists must have a valid passport. I should be valid for 5 months after the tour is scheduled to return. Individual passports are recommended (not family). To apply, contact local passport office, clerk of the district or county court, or post office. Your host will help if needed. Apply early. It may take 6 weeks or more to receive it unless a rush order is made. Baggage: Only one normal sized luggage (because of bus restrictions). One carry-on (plus woman’s purse or Man’s computer). All luggage is at owner’s risk at all times. Any transport or conveyance company provided shall have no liability during the time the passengers are not on that particular conveyance. Keep your checked luggage receipt for any claims, which must be made immediately on arrival. Each ticket or coupon issued and the passage contract in use when issued constitutes the sole contract between the tourist & the conveyance.
