Dapače, radi se o kamenu temeljcu na kojemu sustav počiva. U tom je pak slučaju gradnja kolektiva kamen temeljac otpora. Pitanje organizacije i uloge kolektiva javlja se i u raspravama oko političkog organiziranja u feminističkim krugovima, gdje se ponekad javlja rascjep teorije i prakse: naime, puno je lakše govoriti o kolektivu u teoriji nego raditi na praksama koje bi omogućile da kolektiv zaista funkcionira. Feministički kolektiv je uključujući, baziran na sigurnom prostoru i povjerenju, on prepoznaje opresiju kao društveni, a ne kao individualni problem, i onda, barem u tom TAZ-u (privremenom prostoru slobode) djeluje na njenom rastakanju. Pitanja oko potrebnih preduvjeta i mehanizama izgradnje feminističkih kolektiva će se raspraviti prvu u kratkoj dijaloškoj formi, a centralni dio susreta bit će radionički, baziran na metodologiji Some i Kazališta potlačenih. Ženski studiji i feministička učionica Biljana Kašić Sažetak Unutar predavanja pokušat će se pozicionirati ženski studiji u nas i u svijetu unutar historijsko- epistemološke mape kompleksnih poveznica ženskih/rodnih/lezbijskih/queer studija te dati uvid u značajke ženskostudijskog programa Centra za ženske studije u Zagrebu. Isto tako, ukazat će se na doprinose feminističke epistemologije za poučavanje, istraživanje i aktivizam kao i identificirati poveznice i granične linije feminističke epistemologije u odnosu na druge znanstvene discipline i polja. Biografija Biljana Kašić jedna je od osnivačica Centra za ženske studije i dugogodišnja sukoordinatorica i suradnica ženskostudijskih projekata. Kao redovna profesorica predavala na Odjelu za sociologiju Sveučilišta u Zadru, a po pozivu je predavala i na različitim sveučilištima u svijetu i u nas. Članica je odbora europske znanstvene asocijacije ATGender. Bila je koordinatorica projekta Travelling Spaces/Travelling Concepts. Osobno je ili u suautorstvu objavila i uredila više knjiga, znanstvenih i stručnih radova. Predmet njezina interesa su teorije identiteta, postkolonijalne teorije, feministička epistemologija i radikalne prakse otpora. Feminizam, jezik i granice diskursa Nina Čolović Sažetak Jedna od tenzija u teorijskim promišljanjima, posebno na razmeđi kvir teorije i marksističke misli, pitanje je uloge jezika i dosega u emancipatornim praksama i rada prema transformaciji društvenih odnosa. U kojoj mjeri diskurs zadire u materijalne okolnosti, gdje i kako može uputiti napore prema razumijevanju i izmjeni proizvodnih odnosa roda i seksualnosti? U predavanju će se rekonstruirati odnos između a) jezika i ideologije, b) jezika i političkoga / ekonomskog konteksta i c) jezika i moći kontrastiranjem načina na koji je jezik poiman u radikalno feminističkim, marksističkim i kvir razmatranjima, i to u potrazi za uvidima koji se preklapaju, ali i konfliktima u čije će se uzroke i posljedice nastojati ući kao i pronaći poticaj za njihova moguća razrješenja. Biografija Diplomirala je Primijenjenu lingvistiku i Bohemistiku na Filozofskom fakultetu u Zagrebu, gdje danas u sklopu PDS-a Lingvistike radi na doktoratu iz kritičke analize diskursa u obrazovanju. Zanimaju je teorijski i istraživački rad (sociolingvistika, analiza diskursa, semiotika, kvir i feministička teorija, kognitivna lingvistika, radikalna pedagogija) te aktivističko djelovanje (kvir i feminističko organiziranje, politike solidarnosti i otpora). Od 2015. zaposlena je kao lingvistkinja-istraživačica u Srpskom narodnom vijeću u Zagrebu. Rodni aspekt u kapitalističkoj mapi rada Maja Solar Sažetak Misliti rad iz feminističko-marksističkog epistemološkog ključa znači misliti orodnjene forme rada kao istoričnu, društveno-konstituiranu i analitičko-naučno plauzibilnu pojmovnu strukturu. Svako ljudsko društvo je organizirano kroz rad, odnosno kroz određeni način proizvodnje i reprodukcije, a tako se i kapitalističko društvo – koje se temelji na eksploataciji, otuđenju i različitim oblicima dominacije – strukturira kroz određeni društveni oblik podele rada. Režimi rada u kapitalizmu su, pak, pored klasnih, rasnih, etničkih, na osnovu drugačijih sposobnosti (ability/disability), starosnih i drugih linija, premreženi i polnom/rodnom dimenzijom. Zadatak feminističko-marksističkog pristupa je da pokaže kako ovi orodnjeni oblici rada u kapitalizmu imaju ne samo svoju istoriju, već i logiku. U analizi mesta žena u kapitalističkim režimima rada oslanjaću se na određene koncepcije rada: prije svega na Marksovu teoriju rada, tzv. radnu teoriju vrijednosti, kao i marksističko-feminističke teorije rada koje Marksovu teoriju produbljuju rodnom analizom. U uvodu ću iz navedene vizure objasniti određenja kategorija pol/rod, klasa, patrijarhat/patrijarhalni odnosi, kapitalizam/kapitalistički sistem proizvodnje, robna proizvodnja, nadnični rad, vrednost itd, a potom ću glavni deo izlaganja posvetiti objašnjenju podele rada unutar sfere društvene produkcije i reprodukcije radne snage, te odnos ne- nadničnih oblika rada sa logikom kapitala. Nastojaću pokazati kako ova epistemološka perspektiva omogućava da radu u kapitalizmu ne pristupamo kroz deskriptivne uvide, već da mu damo naučno utemeljenje, te da pokažemo kako su orodnjene forme rada na kojima kapitalizam parazitira – nužni uslovi opstanka kapitalističke društvene formacije. Feminism, Nationalism, and War: The ‘Yugoslav Case’ in Feminist Texts By Jelena Batinic Introduction In the last decade, what was known as Yugoslavia disintegrated through a series of wars.1 These wars are known worldwide for their brutality and for the tragic ‘privilege’ of imposing the notion of ‘ethnic cleansing’ to international political discourse. In the Western media, they were often represented as just another phase in everlasting, ancient - even tribal - ethnic tensions, and this representation often merged with an Orientalist discourse of the Balkans.2 The situation in the former Yugoslavia also became central to numerous feminist texts. Different ideological, cultural, and theoretical assumptions, as well as dependence on different sources, influenced the emergence of different feminist approaches and analyses, and initiated debates and divisions among both local and Western feminists.

It critically examines the reasons for the continuation of this type of violence against women, despite its recognition as a war crime; the recognition that marked one of the significant achievements of feminist activism during the last decade of the 20th century. The discussion points to the centrality of sexual violence in war for the system of gender based violence (GBV) against both women and men in war. It argues that a relational understanding of the gendered processes of victimisation in war is critical. This approach enables an acknowledgement that sexual violence in war and rape, as one of its expressions, is a violent political act that is highly gendered both in its causes and consequences, and, as such, it affects both women and men. This article provides an overall argument for the need of feminist scholarship and activism to engage with these differently situated experiences and practices of victimisation in war, to ‘unmake’ it. Though the states represent a wide variety of national and ethnic identities, they are all influenced by powerful and conservative religions: Roman Catholicism, Eastern Orthodoxy, and Islam. Add to this the fact that embattled ethnic groups often place a high value on procreation, which is usually identified with heterosexuality, and the difficulties faced by Balkan queer people become apparent. Though many anti-gay laws have been abolished recently, true acceptance is a much longer process, and anti- homosexual violence is still common. However, there are many brave and articulate gay and lesbian activists in the Balkan countries. Many of these activists not only work for gay rights in their own countries, but also reach across centuries-old barriers to form connections with queers of other ethnic groups. Geography The Balkan Peninsula is bordered on the east and west by the Black, Ionian, and Adriatic Seas, and on the north and south by the Aegean Sea and the Sawa and Danube Rivers. Though the peninsula stretches from mainland Greece to Hungary, the term "Balkan states" is most often used to refer to the turbulent nations that were once united under the name Yugoslavia. These ancient lands, recreated as nations in the 1990s when Yugoslavia was dissolved, include Serbia/ Montenegro, Croatia, Bosnia/Herzegovina, and Slovenia.

As an interdisciplinary scholar, my work integrates a variety of epistemologies across disciplines by putting anti-war and LGBT activists experience in Serbia into conversation with one another to address unique vulnerabilities. Drawing from transnational feminist and queer critiques of governance, (homo)nationalism, and transnational sexuality studies, I consider how new non- heterosexual identity politics—with roots in anti-war activism—have surfaced in Serbia since the Kosovo War. This could be a paraphrase of a paraphrase of the well-known 1968 slogan1 at the begin- ning of Jelena Petrović and Vjollca Krasniqi introductory study to the book Notes on (Post-) Yugoslav Women’s Activism and Feminist Politics. At the same time, it means that women’s is- sues have always been emphatically po- litical, but also that all other po- litical issues have always referred to Feminine in post-time and post-space the issue of women’s status. Both of them, political as well as feminine, we see and understand better when they are intertwined, when we regard them as a symbiosis. Feminine has paralleled the politi- cal. Ever since the women’s issues were first raised in the 19th century, they have always been related to oth- er, close, ‘brother’, ‘sister’ issues. Initially, they were logically asso- ciated with the socialist idea, be- cause it was believed that class lib- eration would inevitably bring freedom to women. Something similar was behind the linking to the 19th century idea 1 ‘Personal is political’, and ‘Political is personal’. of nationalism – the conviction that 7 free nation could also bring freedom to women. Moreover, the movement of decolonisation had a forceful women’s imprint, motivated by the belief that women would be free with liberation from the colonial power.

Feminism, Nationalism, and War: The ‘Yugoslav Case’ in Feminist Texts By Jelena Batinic Introduction In the last decade, what was known as Yugoslavia disintegrated through a series of wars.1 These wars are known worldwide for their brutality and for the tragic ‘privilege’ of imposing the notion of ‘ethnic cleansing’ to international political discourse. In the Western media, they were often represented as just another phase in everlasting, ancient - even tribal - ethnic tensions, and this representation often merged with an Orientalist discourse of the Balkans.2 The situation in the former Yugoslavia also became central to numerous feminist texts. Different ideological, cultural, and theoretical assumptions, as well as dependence on different sources, influenced the emergence of different feminist approaches and analyses, and initiated debates and divisions among both local and Western feminists.
