Community Meal Donation Programme The second pillar of the “We Meet Again” campaign is a charitable meal donation programme to assist the most vulnerable during this time of crisis. The Peninsula Tokyo is deeply committed to supporting the local communities and, in these challenging times, is joining hands with guests to express love and care to those in need by making meal donations through a partnership with local charities Hands On Tokyo and Second Harvest Japan. Guests will have the opportunity to actively participate in preparing and packaging meals for the needy through the Love of Community programme. From June 18 until end of 2020, for a meal purchased at any of the hotel’s direct operating restaurants (including breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner), The Peninsula Tokyo will make a one-for-one meal donation to the two local charities.
