Montserrat is round and fine. The pairing of the two makes for a tidy, geometric and contemporary feel. COLOR PSYCHOLOGY The color blue exudes confidence, success, and trustworthiness. It’s standard compliment is the orange below; it’s true compliment per it’s RGB values is the green below. Blue should be used as the dominant color in MOSAIC branding. Per triad color harmony standards, the orange and green should be used as accents. R - 39 G - 59 B - 190 The color orange displays creativity and enthusiasm. It adds warmth and approachability. It is best used to balance the vibrancy of the blue. R - 224 G - 109 B - 62 The color green gives MOSAIC branding its crisp, fresh feel. It is best used in subtle accents, with the understanding that it adds additional vibrancy when used with the blue. R - 181 G - 192 B - 70 LOGOS + FAVICON • Included logo versions are white, grayscale, and full color. The white version can be used for a more contemporary look when used on the blue background. The grayscale version is only to be used for black and white printing purposes. In all other scenarios, default to the color version. No matter the version used, all full-sized logos must be scaled proportionately. STYLE GUIDE The browser favicon is included as full color, and should always be used as color. It is standard 32x32px in size. PRINT MATERIALS Body copy in MOSAIC materials should always be true black. Headers can be true black, or any of the three logo palette colors, keeping in mind that blue should always dominate, with green and orange to accent. BUSINESS CARDS Cards are to be printed on extra thick 32pt luxury paper with colored seams (blue, orange, or green) with our friends at MOO. LETTERHEAD Letterhead stationary should also be printed at MOO, on their 80lb original stock - a silky finish perfectly fitting for the tech field. Documents on letterhead that require more than 1 page should have identical subsequent pages that match the cover page, with the exception of removing the logo from the header portion. WEBSITE Displayed here is the above-the-fold view of the home page of the MOSAIC website. Visuals focus on relevant imagery, colors stay true to the brand palette, and content displays MOSAIC values. Consequently, scientists are eagerly working on creating new blue pigments. Part 1: Can we really be sure where the color blue has its origin? Throughout history, it was a tedious and laborious process – or a stroke of luck. Pure Coincidence His most famous discovery came like out of a blue sky. Mas Subramanian, a solid-state chemist at the chemical company Dupont, published hundreds of papers and dozens of patents.
