The Gravestone Inscriptions at St Mary’s Church, Almondsbury

The following records were mostly compiled in the period 1976 to 1979 and the final section from No. 70 to 100 in area 8 was completed in 2011. By 2011, many of the earlier recorded inscriptions had been lost.

The notes included in italics are taken from a) The Gloucestershire Collection by Ralph Bigland 1773-1775. b) The Almondsbury History Society Record cards which were compiled from various church and other records.
