UNHCR Project on provision of information on asylum and legal counseling

UNHCR implements a project providing initial legal information to potential asylum seekers and legal counselling to persons of concern. Under the project, persons informing of their intention to seek asylum are referred to relevant Croatian authorities. The first charts below reflects the profile of those persons who contacted UNHCR in 2020. Majority were new arrivals from and Herzegovina and . The second chart refers to persons who received counselling on various legal issues related to the asylum system in Croatia.
