Chapel veils are available in the vestibule to borrow for Mass. If you would like to register as a parishioner here, please fill out a registration form, found in the back of the church, and place in the gray box outside the Church Office. Announcements and Events Proper for Today’s Mass: The texts for the Sunday Mass may be found on page 267 in the St. Edmund Campion Missal & Hymnal. Divine Mercy Devotions will be held today at 3:00 pm, after the brunch. The Easter Duty of Holy Communion: According to the Commandments of the Church, Catholics having already made First Holy Communion are seriously obliged to make a worthy Communion at least once during the Easter time. For the purposes of fulfilling this duty, that time is between the First Sunday of Lent and Trinity Sunday (the Sunday following Pentecost), inclusively. The Duty of Annual Confession: Separate from the Easter Duty of Communion, a Catholic having made first confession is obliged to make a sacramental confession once per year, though at no specified time. Parking this Friday: The faculty of Eastside Elementary School has been permitted to use our parking lot this Friday, until 4:00 pm. Prayer for an End to Infanticide: The U.S. Bishops’ Committee on Pro- Life Activities has published the following prayer: “Jesus, Lord of Life, transform the hearts of all elected leaders to recognize that infanticide is wrong and must not be tolerated. Open hearts and minds to recognize and defend the precious gift of human life.” Progress with Church Renovation Project: Fr. McCambridge and our architect made the first submittal to the Diocesan Building Commission this past Tuesday. It was approved unanimously for advancement to the second submittal, which calls for plans which are 60-70% complete. Thank you for your prayers; please continue to pray that God’s will be done in these matters! Please remember the Sick in your prayers: Carroll Mellina, Michelle Harmon, Sr. Clare of Assisi, S.S.F.
