Dinner on your own in the lovely dining room.(optional) Day 1: You are transferred at 09.30 am to the Coaching in Bavaria farm located between Lake Starnberg and Lake Ammersee where you will meet your coachman and guide or, if your drive yourself, you will get familiar with your horses and carriage. Our little back track is flooded Departure from the farm is 10.00 am. We drive down to the Ammer Valley, later up to the hills along the river. Lunch-break is in the small farm village of Eberfing at a post inn: no mass tourism, just good Bavarian food. After lunch the carriages drive through open farm land and later through endless forests closer and closer to the mountains. Around 06.00 pm we arrive at the hotel “Metzgerwirt” inside the little town of Bayersoien or at the Parkhotel in Bayersoien. Beautiful hotel, a wonderful view of the mountains, surrounded by moorland and fens. Dinner on your own in the hotel. King Ludwig in his postillion driven sleigh along the “King’s Road” This road is nearly in the same condition as 120 years ago. Around noon we arrive at the Wies church, the most beautiful rococo church in Germany. Here we have lunch in the former residence of the church builder, Dominikus Zimmermann. After lunch through lonely mountain forests, across mountain pastures with grazing herds of cattle and horses. We come to the lakes of Forggensee and Bannwaldsee with both the royal castles always within our sight. Finally, both castles are towering high above our mail-coach. Around 06.00 pm we arrive in Hohenschwangau, overnight in the Hotel „Müller“, with view of both castles. Dinner on your own in the hotel dining room with a lovely view of Neuschwanstein castle. Programme 27 – 30 September 2015 Evangelische Akademie Tutzing, Lake Starnberg, Germany 54th Tutzing Symposion Sustainable Phyto extracts – Trends, Perspectives and Visions www.dechema.de/tusy54 invitation The Subject Division Plant based Extracts – Products and Processes of ProcessNet (an initiative of DECHEMA – Society for Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology and VDI·GVC – Division Chemical and Process Engineering of the Association of German Engineers), is pleased to invite you to the 54th Tutzing Symposion: Sustainable Phyto Extracts – Trends, Perspectives and Visions, which will take place from 27 – 30 September 2015, Tutzing, Germany. Plant based extracts, i.e. phyto extracts, are important ingredients in a wide variety of market segments from pharmaceuticals, foods and fragrants to base chemicals. The generation of added value is as wide spread from breeding over processing up to marketing, whereas the products are per definition biodegradable. Parts of this economy are highly regulated and the regulation varies depending on local or regional legislation. Nevertheless, almost all European industries involved are under increasing international competition pressure. The Symposion is designed to foster exchange and discussion in the areas of sustainable plant production, novel manufacturing technologies, sustainable extraction, distillation and purification processes, application and marketing of extracts. The focus themes are complemented by ethical views, practical “exercises” with products containing or consisting of extracts and a workshop session to discuss and develop innovation strategies. The Tutzing Symposion will again provide a unique platform and ample time to exchange ideas between leading scientists and decision makers. The venue is located directly at the shores of Lake Starnberg 40 km south of Munich and is only about 30 (60) minutes away by train from Munich central station (airport).

Journal of Business and Economics, ISSN 2155-7950, USA December 2013, Volume 4, No. 12, pp. 1187-1200 Academic Star Publishing Company, 2013 http://www.academicstar.us Distribution of Economic Power and Income between Major Cities and Their Regions in Germany Werner Münzenmaier (Ministry of Finance and Economics Baden-Wuerttemberg, Neues Schloss, D70173 Stuttgart, Germany) Abstract: Based on National Accounts Data for production and income, this article deals with the question how intensive the five economically strongest German cities radiate into their neighboring regions. In this respect, the situation is very different for the five cities and their regions: (1) Two cities (Hamburg, Dusseldorf) are very dominant and exceed the districts of their respective region in all four per-capita indicators; (2) although Munich is an economically very strong city it is surpassed by some rural districts of its region with respect to productivity and income; (3) Frankfurt as an international banking center has a very productive economy and offers the highest earnings of all major cities but it looses a lot of purchasing power due to the commuting of well earning employees residing in more attractive neighboring communities; (4) the indicators show very small disparities within the Region of Stuttgart which is characterized by the production of cars and other investment goods and insofar differs from the other regions with core cities dominating in business services. Key words: regional accounts; labor productivity; compensation of employees; income; cities JEL codes: E01, J30, O18, R12 1. Introduction Major cities radiate in many ways into their neighboring regions. Typically, these cities are economically closely intertwined with the surrounding cities and municipalities and can therefore be considered as the core cities of an area.

Per capita purchasing power for the fea- tured product lines differs substantially from region to region, with significant variations between online and brick-and-mortar spending. With an average of €69 per person, the urban district of Munich has the highest purchasing power for food purchased through online re- tail in 2019. Munich residents spend almost seven times as much money online for food as the last-ranked rural district of Wittenberg, whose inhabitants spend just under €10 per person on food online in 2019. This demonstrates the con- siderable regional variations in online spending on food in Germany. • XA04C0175 After the Reactor-Accident in Tschernobyl Radioactive Fission Products Reached During the Night on April, 30Th,1986, the South Bavarian Region
Effect and consequences of the reactor-accident in Tschernobyl on the fish population in Bavaria Wulf Liinsmann XA04C0175 After the reactor-accident in Tschernobyl radioactive fission products reached during the night on April, 30th,1986, the south bavarian region. They were washed out by heavy rains in the early hours of the afternoon, causing a contamination of the total biosphere. It is known from radio-eclogical studies, that radionuclides concentrate in fish meat. Ionising radiation may lead to an internal radiation exposition of human beings via food chains. It was for that reason necessary to follow up the temporal development in order to prevent injures through ionising radiation. The Bavarian Institute for Water Research started on May, 5th, a project in connection with fish consumption and investi- gated fish meat for radioactivity, originated from 3 different biotopes: a) rivers b) fish-farms c) lakes in the prealpine region Altogether approximately 700 fishes were examined until the end of October. Fish-meat contained until the middle of May besides Cs 134 and Cs 137 also the short-living radionuclides J 131 and Te132 (20 - 30 Bq/kg fresh meat). After that date could only Cs 134 and Cs 137 be demon- strated. Since both cesium-isotopes in the Tschernobyl-fallout occur in a 1:2 ratio, only the result of Cs 137 are reported. to a and b During the whole investigation period Cs 137 concentrations of 0 - 50 Bq/kg in fresh meat could be demonstrated in fishes of rivers all over Bavaria, only occasionally values occured up to 100 Bq/kg.
