Rushing: Passing: Receiving: Defense: The 96th season of Racer Football will be a one of a kind when the Racers take the field for the season that was supposed to be played in the fall of 2020, but occurs in the spring of 2021. The Ohio Valley Conference and it’s proud history of collegiate football plays its 73rd season in the OVC. It all begins Sunday when the UT Martin Skyhawks make a visit to Murray State’s Roy Stewart Stadium. When foot meets leather Sunday at 2p, it will mark the first Racer football game in the Coach Dean Hood era, 443 days since he was hired on Dec. 13, 2019. It will have been 463 days since the Racers’ last game, which was on Nov. 23, 2019 at SEMO and the Racers’ play their first game at home in 470 days, since they hosted Austin Peay on Nov. 16, 2019. Yes, it has been too long, we’ve been through so much. But finally it’s time for Racer football to take the field again.
