But in the next process, it will experience an accumulation or concentration so that at certain concentrations, it can cause the negative impact on the environment. The results from the previous research showed that the water hyacinth plant (Eichhornia crassipes) has the highest ability in reducing heavy metal pollution of mercury. The objective of this research is to analyze the ability of the water hyacinth plant (Eichhornia crassipes) in reducing the concentration of metal with variety of water flow rates. This research was conducted to test the water hyacinth plant (Eichhornia crassipes) in some discharge water sources which contaminated with mercury in the downstream of gold mining in Batang Hari River on a laboratory scale with a continuous flow. The result of this research revealed that the water hyacinth plant (Eichhornia crassipes) can lower the concentration of heavy metals Hg to the limit of water quality for irrigation. -

Abstract Cost-effective production of any large-volume chemical by fermentation requires extensive manipulation ofboth the production organism and the fermentation and recovery processes. We have developed a recombinant E. coli system for the production of tryptophan and several other products derived from the aromatic amino acid pathway. By linking our technology for low-cost production oftryptophan from glucose with the enzyme naphthalene dioxygenase (NOO), we have achieved an overall process for the production ofindigo dye from glucose. To successfully join these two technologies, both the tryptophan pathway and NOD were extensively modified via genetic engineering. In addition, systems were developed to remove deleterious by-products generated during the chemical oxidations leading to indigo formation. Low-cost fermentation processes were developed that utilized minimal-salts media containing glucose as the sole carbon source. Finally, economical recovery processes were used that preserved the environmental friendliness ofthe biosynthetic route to indigo. 1121 Introduction Two major problems facing the U.S. chemical industry are dependence on foreign petroleum and mounting environmental concerns and regulations (for review, see reference [1]). This has led to consideration ofbiosynthetic routes for production of aromatic compounds. -

They required preliminary data on pre- eminent commodities in the districts/cities, descriptions of the land types suitability and factors that are expected to affect investment realization. Each city and district has different land suitability data. The five districts studied Generally have two types of soil, namely, red yellow podozolic soil and peat soil (organosol). The city of Jambi has more reGional advantaGes compared to other districts because it is supported by a strateGic location, has appeals to investors due to the elevated location and the distribution of the inlands/districts. Muaro Jambi regency as the main zone city should be able to anticipate the city faster development for example by developing palm oil or rubber derivation industry with red yellow podzolic condition. The similar case applies to the upstream of West TanjunG JabunG which needs to be prioritized and investment promotion breakthrough. Whereas, the downstream of West Tanjung Jabung is expected to capture investment opportunities in fishery or aquatic sub-sector. -

Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui apa kebijakan yang harus dilakukan aparatur pemerintah dalam pelaksanaan koordinasi khususnya dalam penyelesaian perselisihan batas daerah antara Kabupaten Sanggau dan Kabupaten Kubu Raya. Jenis penelitian adalah deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik wawancara, teknik observasi, dan teknik dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian dipilih dengan purposive. Simpulan dari penelitian adalah penyelesaian perselisihan batas daerah ini terkesan lambat oleh pemerintah, baik itu Pemerintah Kabupaten maupun Pemerintah Provinsi, tentunya menjadikan ketidakpastian bagi masyarakat dan daerah yang mempunyai persoalan batas wilayah. Oleh karena itu, perlu segera dicarikan jalan penyelesaiannya yang terbaik untuk semuanya dan dalam hal ini dituntut keberanian pemerintah untuk mengambil kebijakan penyelesaian konflik batas wilayah yang berdasarkan landasan hukum yang berlaku. Dan yang lebih penting adalah bagaimana daerah yang berkonflik mengembangkan kerja sama antar daerah khususnya di Desa Subah Kecamatan Tayan Hilir Kabupaten Sanggau dengan Desa Teluk Bakung Kecamatan Sungai Ambawang Kabupaten Kubu Raya. -

But as appealing as the surroundings are, it is what lies beneath the nearby waters that have earned Wakatboi Dive Resort world-wide recognition among diving and snorkeling enthusiasts, and the accolades of conservationists for the innovative conservation practices that were an integral cornerstone of the resort’s founding. Wakatobi is situated within the famed ‘Coral Triangle,” an area between Indonesia, Malaysia and Papua New Guinea that harbors the world’s greatest coral reef bio-diversity. These waters are home to more than 500 species of reef building corals and in excess of 2,000 species of reef sh. The Wakatobi archipelago takes its name from a compilation of the rst two letters of four major islands in the group—Wangi- wangi, Kaledupa, Tomia and Binongko. The reefs surrounding these islands have long been recognized as some of the nest in Indonesia, if not the world. In 2012 the area was designated a UNESCO Marine Biosphere Reserve. Years before any such international recognition, or the founding of the Wakatobi National Park, the founders of Wakatobi Dive Resort realized the unique beauty of this then little-known destination, and also the importance of protecting this natural resource. Soon after locating the beachfront property that would become the resort, they began negotiations with local shermen and villagers, which led to the creation of a conservation program that invested the community in continued health and protection of the reefs. -

This infor- mation can be used to predict recruitment and fish stock enchancement of C. lucius within the of domestication and aquaculture. The research was held in January until November 2012 in Singkarak Lake West Sumatera Province, in foodplain, Pematang Lindung sub district Mendahara Ulu Regency East Tanjung Jabung, Jambi Province, and in foodplain Mentulik Regency Kampar Kiri Hilir Riau Province. The amount of sam- ples that was observed was 30 gonado of female fish Gonado Maturity Level III and IV in each research location. The total of C. lucius fecun- dity from West Sumatera is 1.996±568 eggs in which each egg has 1,35±0,09 mm in diameter, from Jambi is 2.196±866 eggs, each eggs has 1,53±0,11 mm, and Riau is 2.539±716 eggs, each has 1,70±0,14 mm in diameter.
