Playing the two semi-finals on separate days means neutral fans can go to both games and although some people would prefer to play on a Sati.Jrdayafternoon , it does give the clubs to play on the bigger stage of a senior ground . None of the four semi-finalists are new to the occasion and we are on familiar ground as far as the two venues are concerned with Fir Park having staged last years final whilst Love Street has regularly housed semi-finals in recent years . Four times winners of the Scottish Junior Cup, Ashfield’s colours of black and white hoops and black shorts are as renowned as any within Glasgow’s junior football scene. ALBION ROVERS (1961) It is the end of an era for this fine old Lanarkshire club as they depart from their traditional blue jerseys and opt for a completely new look.
