Biography  "Black and Blue" Razaf was born in Washington, D.C. His birth name was Andriamanantena Paul Razafinkarefo. He was the son of  "Garvey! Hats Off to Garvey" Henri Razafinkarefo, nephew of Queen Ranavalona  "Honeysuckle Rose" III of Imerina kingdom in Madagascar, and Jennie (Waller) Razafinkarefo, the daughter of John L. Waller, the first African American consul to Imerina. The French invasion of  "In the Mood" Madagascar left his father dead, and forced his pregnant 15-year-old mother to escape to the  "The Joint Is Jumpin'" United States, where he was born in 1895.

Our challenge in 2019 is to share the gospel in “Your” marketplace - the place you spend your time, i.e. work, mall, supermarket, school, neighborhood, etc.

Please pick up a copy of the pamphlet displayed above from the vestibule.

Pray for at least one person per month in your marketplace that you can share Christ. Come back and share your journey with the congregation on one of the 5th Sunday’s in 2019.
