Arnaud BELTRAME, colonel de gendarmerie, adjoint commandement du groupement de gendarmerie départementale de l'Aude, animé d'un courage exemplaire et d'une totale abnégation, décédé le 24 mars 2018 dans l'exercice de ses fonctions. Le lieutenant-colonel Arnaud Beltrame a succombé à ses blessures après un acte héroïque effectué en service lors de l’attaque terroriste qui s’est déroulée à Trèbes (Aude). Arnaud Beltrame a été en charge des questions de sécurité et d’intelligence économique au cabinet du secrétaire général de notre pôle ministériel de 2014 à 2017, tout d’abord auprès de Monsieur Francis Rol-Tanguy puis de Madame Régine Engström. Il effectuait un travail de liaison permanente avec le service de défense, de sécurité et d’intelligence économique (SDSIE) du ministère de la Transition écologique et solidaire et du ministère de la Cohésion des territoires. L’AAAM et l’AP3M s’associent pleinement à cet hommage national. ! Et c'est l'ancien préfet de La Réunion Dominique Sorain qui a été nommé. Une information des Nouvelles de Mayotte. Dominique Sorain occupait depuis l'an dernier le poste de directeur de cabinet de la ministre des Outre-mer Annick Girardin. Cette nomination arrive comme un nouveau signal d'apaisement envoyé à la population mahoraise, dans la rue depuis un mois, à réclamer du gouvernement qu'il mette tout en oeuvre pour enrayer la spirale de l'insécurité à Mayotte. Le préfet actuel, ​Frédéric Veau, n'aura fait que deux ans dans l'archipel. Il avait été nommé le 6 mai 2016. "Un nouveau contrat républicain" Domininique Sorain a également été désigné délégué du gouvernement. Il sera accompagné d’une équipe interministérielle qui viendra renforcer les services de l’État sur place. Autour du délégué, l’équipe interministérielle sera en lien direct avec élus, acteurs du mouvement social, société civile et présentera, dans un délai d’un mois, un train de mesures sociales et économiques en faveur du développement et du redressement de Mayotte. "Les entraves à la circulation, la mise en danger d’autrui, les opérations de justice communautaire et le racket organisé sur certains barrages sont des faits graves passibles de poursuites", a déclaré Annick Girardin. "Le Président de la République souhaite engager avec les élus du territoire un nouveau modèle de développement. Il s’est engagé à recevoir les élus à l'issue de ces travaux. Il conclura, avec eux, ce nouveau contrat républicain", vient d'annoncer la ministre depuis le ministère des Outre-mer. However, problems often occur due to imbalance in dynamics between exports and imports, container relocation, traffic congestion, and general shipping network designs. So, efficient and cost-effective cargo management has become crucial for the Jeju Island – Mokpo container route (JMCR) in South Korea. Dozens of recent studies reveal that collapsible or foldable containers, may become an innovative solution to problematic issues within the shipping industry. The major purpose of this study is to discuss conditions required for successful commercial application of foldable containers, based on a cost-benefit analysis precisely for the JMCR. Findings reveal usage of foldable containers can be cost-effective, if containers make a “FULL<->EMPTY” route. To the contrary, a “FULL<->FULL” route can drastically increase expenditure. However, economic analysis of actual figures for 2010-2015 indicate that benefits for Mokpo – Jeju direction are significant to cover losses on the Jeju – Mokpo line. Seasonal patterns and mixing percentages of foldable and standard containers on the route, may also produce cost-effective solutions.

It has an inseparable link to the development and prosperity of a nation. With the recent increase in the quantity of goods transported by sea, the size and speed of vessels have been increasing, which results in a growing number of marine accidents. The 「2013 Annual Summary of Korean Notices to Mariners」 has been published in accordance with the recommendations of the International Hydrographic Organization (IHO) and the long-term development plan of KHOA to contribute to the safety of navigation. The 「2013 Annual Summary of Korean Notices to Mariners」 is the summary of weekly Korean notices to mariners issued in 2013. Officials said six of the ship’s 462 passengers had died, at least 55 are injured and 179 have been rescued. Many passengers - of which 300 are children - may have been trapped inside the vessel as it listed and sank. A total of 277 people remained missing. Dozens of coastguard and navy vessels were battling to rescue passengers, including 325 high school pupils and their teachers. A major rescue operation is now underway involving more than 30 coastguard and military ships, as well as about a dozen helicopters.
