In this study in vivo experiment was performed to establish whether intramuscular injections of boar pheromone, 5α-androstenol (5α-androst-16-en-3-ol), might change the development and secretory function of the ovarian follicles during sexual maturation of gilts. Gilts from groups I (n=15) and II (n=13) received androstenol (10 μg/gilt/injection; i.m.) three times a week from day 192 to 234 of age. Similar, control gilts (group C; n=13) received saline. Additionally, the na- sal cavity of animals from group II was irrigated with zinc sulfate solution to depress olfactory function. This new suggested classification depends on the 3-dimentional concept of parametrium and paracolpium and the comprehensive description of the anatomy of parametrium, paracolpium and the pelvic autonomic nerve system. Each type in this classification tailored to the tumour stage according to FIGO- classification from 2018, taking into account the tumour size, localization and infiltration in the vaginal vault, which may make it the most suitable tool for planning and tailoring the surgery of radical hysterectomy. Abstract: The current understanding of radical hysterectomy more is centered on the uterus and little is being discussed about the resection of the vaginal cuff and the paracolpium as an essential part of this procedure. This is because that the current classifications of radical hysterectomy are based only on the lateral extent of resection. Much of the information processing that leads to these behaviors is performed in neocortical circuits that span throughout the six layers of the cortex. Maintaining this circuit activity requires substantial quantities of oxygen and energy substrates, which are delivered by the complex yet well-organized and tightly-regulated vascular system. In this review, we provide a detailed characterization of the most relevant anatomical and functional features of the cortical vasculature. This includes a compilation of the available data on laminar variation of vascular density and the topological aspects of the microvascular system. We also review the spatio-temporal dynamics of cortical blood flow regulation and oxygenation, many aspects of which remain poorly understood. Finally, we discuss some of the important implications of vascular density, distribution, oxygenation and blood flow regulation for (laminar) fMRI. Factors Associated with Parametrial Involvement

Methods We retrospectively reviewed 120 patients who underwent radical hysterectomy and pelvic lymphadenectomy as treatment for stage IB1 cervical cancer. Results Overall, 18 (15.0%) patients had parametrial tumor involvement. Tumor size larger than 2 cm, invasion depth greater than 1 cm, presence of lymphovascular space involvement (LVSI), corpus involvement, and positive lymph nodes were statistically associated with parametrial involvement. Multivariate analysis for other factors showed invasion depth >1 cm (P=0.029), and corpus involvement (P=0.022) were significantly associated with parametrial involvement. A subgroup with tumor size smaller than 2 cm showed no parametrial involvement, regardless of invasion depth or presence of LVSI. Conclusion Tumor size smaller than 2 cm showed no parametrial involvement, regardless of invasion depth or presence of LVSI. Invasion depth >1 cm and corpus involvement were significantly associated with parametrial involvement in multivariate analysis. These finding may suggest that tumor size may a strong predictor of parametrial involvement in International Federation of Gynecology and Obstetrics stage IB1 cervical cancer, which can be used to select a subgroup population for less radical surgery. -

On the right side, the testicular vein drained into the right renal vein and the right testicular artery passed posterior to the inferior vena cava. The left testicular vein was composed of the lateral and medial testicular veins which drained into the left renal vein independently. Left renal vein had received an additional tributary, first lumbar vein, and the left testicular artery had hooked this additional tributary to run along its normal course. This study aims to provide data on the reproductive biology of this species captured in artisanal fisheries from Ceará State. A total of 299 individuals of H. marianae were recorded at monitoring landings and adult male to female sex ratio was significantly different (1:2.9), indicating a possible spatial segregation between males and females. The size range was from 13.0 to 36.2cm in disc width (DW). Females reached greater size and body mass (36.2cm DW and 1855g) than males (29.3cm DW and 915g). The reproductive system analyses were based on 81 preserved specimens. The DW50 parameter was estimated at 26.1cm DW for females, and 23.8cm DW for males. Only the left uterus is functional, and birth size was estimated at 13.0–14.0cm DW. Vitellogenesis occurred concurrently with a short gestation (shorter than 6 months) and uterine fecundity is only one embryo per reproductive cycle, which seems to be asynchronous.
