Gillette Museum of Arthropod Diversity, Department of Bioagricultural Sciences and Pest Management Colorado State University, Fort Collins, CO 80523 Abstract A list of 1531 species ofLepidoptera is presented, collected over 15 years (1988 to 2002), in eleven southern West Virginia counties. A variety of collecting methods was used, including netting, light attracting, light trapping and pheromone trapping. The specimens were identified by the currently available pictorial sources and determination keys. Many were also sent to specialists for confirmation or identification. The majority of the data was from Kanawha County, reflecting the area of more intensive sampling effort by the senior author. This imbalance of data between Kanawha County and other counties should even out with further sampling of the area. Key Words: Appalachian Mountains, -

Hausmann & S. Scalercio Abstract A total of 45 Lepidoptera larvae were collected in ethanol from 16 target plant species in southern Italy, requiring a few hours of field work only. Identification was performed by DNA barcoding unveiling host-plant relationships for 29 Lepidoptera species. The authors propose a larger-scale approach using this rapid and efficient method and encourage entomologists to join the team. LES INSECTES PHYTOPHAGES ASSOCIÉS À DES PLANTES EXOTIQUES ENVAHISSANTES À L’ÎLE DE LA RÉUNION (MASCAREIGNES) Marc ATTIÉ1, Stéphane BARET1 & Dominique STRASBERG1 SUMMARY. — Phytophagous insects associated to non-native invasive plants at Réunion Island (Mascarene). — Absence of the natural enemies that limit their populations in their areas of origin generally explains the propagation of invasive plants. Few associations are known between invasive plants and insects at Réunion Island. There, in infested indigenous ecosystems, 42 phytophagous insects (Coleoptera, Diptera, Hemiptera, Lepidoptera and Phasmida), among which 19 are endemic of one or several Mascarene Islands, have been recorded on 20 non-native invasive plant species. Among the 220 associations with invasive or indigenous plants 147 were not recorded before. Lepidoptera and Coleoptera form the predominant insect groups. Lepidoptera include several families: Crambidae, Geo- metridae, Hesperiidae, Noctuidae, Nymphalidae, Sphingidae, whereas Coleoptera (14 species) are mainly Curculionidae with 13 recognized weevil species. The host range spectrum is very broad for the greatest part of collected insects. The endemic species of Geometridae are essentially associated with endemic plants (39% of records) while the species with a broad distribution are mainly recorded on invasive species. The Geometridae family is more closely associated with endemic plants than Noctui- dae and Curculionidae; while the Noctuidae with a broad distribution are more closely associated with alien plants (30% of the records) than Geometridae and Curculionidae (respectively 7% et 4%). Some endemic polyphagous Curculionidae are also associated with invasive (14%) or non-invasive (8%) exo- tic plants. These significant differences are mainly explained by the very nature of the diet. -

The present study deals with moth inventory in Delhi carried out from 2014 to 2015. During the study 36 species of moths belonging to 31 genera and 7 families were added to the existing moth fauna of Delhi.
