Prayer Corner

Each October, Catholics of the United States are called to consider more deeply why every human life is valuable and reflect on how to build a culture that protects life from conception to natural death. Resources and more information about Respect Life Month activities are available from the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops.

PRAYER TO MARY, MOTHER OF LIFE WITHIN

“O Mary, Mother of Life within, All life we entrust to you; The life of every expectant mother And the child within her womb: The life of every humas body, The life of every human soul; The life of every newborn child And the life of all grown old. You held the Lord to your own heart And drew Him so close in. So draw us now in all our needs, O Mother of the Life Within. Amen”

Pastoral Care A PRAYER AFFIRMING ALL LIFE

“God, You are the Lord and Creator of life. You have blessed men and women With the privilege of bringing new life into the world.

You have imparted in our hearts The desire to nurture and protect life In all its stages- conception, birth, childhood, Teen years, adult life, old age, disability and good health.

We accept these gifts as a sacred trust. Through the power of the Holy Spirit, Help us to affirm the value of life in all its stages.

Grant us the wisdom and courage to speak out and Defend human life.

Give us compassion, So that we may lovingly counsel Any who would reject the gift of life, Which is the reflection Of Your image and likeness. Amen”

LuLu Rescue is a rescue that has become part of St. Martin’s Parish Life. Almost weekly they bring dogs to our park- ing lot to be adopted or fostered after being abandoned by owners. They have been with us for over three years now. Griff is one of their adoptees. They as we all are in need of some help for their dogs. Mostly what they need are dog food, leashes, collars, crates, or other dog items that we might have at home and are not using. If you are able to help out, please drop your donations off at the Gathering Area of the church and we will make sure they get your donations when them bring dogs here who are going to their new homes. Thanks in advance for your generosity for our furry friends. Meet Buck! He is one of Griff’s friends from LuLu Rescue. They were adopted the same year and became friends and now spend time playing with each other. Two happy dogs who have been rescued by LuLu and live here now! LuLu Rescue thanks our parishioners who have dropped of food and other items for adoptees and fostered dogs.
