One thing I will continue to do (with the new perspective of the power I own) is to continuously & constantly remind my co-workers & our leadership of the experience of our community members who are not privileged & are consistently overlooked.

I will begin to ask questions to leadership/others that shed a light on where we could do better (representation, genuine opportunities), especially in those places where I do not feel that my direct input/proposals will be heard.

1 thing to do differently - poll our board to explore how inclusive board members find it. A forum for real honesty and an opportunity for suggestions.

One thing that I'm going to do differently is TRY to engage with our board members to bridge the gap between them and the frontline worker

I will think about hiring for our new director of individual giving by thinking of skills vs track record, which is really looked down upon in fundraising for non profits. 7
