ICCTF was established in 2009, with increasing effectivity and efficiency on climate change coordination in Indonesia to be in accordance with National/Local Action Plan on Greenhouse Gas Emission Reduction (RAN/RAD-GRK) and National Action Plan on Climate Change Adaptation (RAN-API). Energy 2 ICCTF FOCUS AREA Land-based 1 Mitigation Resilience and 3 Adaptation 4 ICCTF 18 Actions Program 2016 1. Land-based Mitigation Window The focus of land-based mitigation window aims to reduce greenhouse gas emission through financial support on reforestation/rehabilitation on degraded land, reforestation of critical land to community forest, energy and agroforestry plantation, low carbon and productive management of degraded peat land, and sustainable management on conservation area. 2. Adaptation and Resilience Window The focus of adaptation and resilience window seeks to prepare national and local institutions, also vulnerable communities towards the impact of climate change by propagating climate information, developing and increasing the design of adaptation strategy, and supporting new adaptation policies. 3. Energy Window The focus of energy window is meant to reduce significant level of greenhouse gas emission and relate it with energy supply and demand, including financial support for low-carbon technology for power plant; and energy conservation and efficiency.
