ADDRESS Lambeth Towers, 74 Kennington Road, London. SE11 6NJ Lambeth Towers is located on the crossroads with Lambeth Road and Kennington Road. It is opposite a park called Geraldine Mary Harmsworth Park which also has the Imperial War Museum located within. Geographically we are about 10 minutes walk due south from Westminster Bridge. BY UNDERGROUND Our closest underground station is Lambeth North. This is on the brown line, and one stop from the end. From this underground station it is approximately 3 minutes walk. The second closest station is Waterloo, this station is served by overground Underground and overground. Walking from the station is approximately 10 minutes. If you are catching the underground, it is serviced by the Bakerloo line, (Brown) Northern line, (black) and the Jubilee line (Silver/grey) WALKING FROM. Lambeth North Underground Station Directly outside the exit from the station (slightly to the left) you will see a crossing (pictured). Take this to the traffic island in the centre of the road. From here, take the crossing to your left (opposite the large church steeple). Follow the curve of the road around to the right, passing the entrance of the church. This is Kennington Road. Follow this road until you reach the Three Stags pub. Our location is diagonal from here, across the junction. Take the first crossing straight ahead and then cross again at a 90 degree angle, and you will be on the corner where we are located. Head through the green arch with the words ‘Lambeth Towers’ - we are behind the door directly to the left of the pharmacy. Waterloo Station From Waterloo Station, you can take the Bakerloo Underground line to Lambeth North (the closest station to our location). Your point of exit from the Underground will differ depending on which line you have been travelling on. If you have taken the Jubilee line, the exit to Waterloo Road (pictured) is directly to your left after you exit the escalator and come through the barriers. If you have travelled on the Bakerloo or Northern lines, or on a National Rail Service, you will likely be in the main atrium one level up. From this area, take the escalators down one level. The escalators are located under a set of arches next to M&S FoodHall. The arches are labelled with ‘Exit to Waterloo Road’. Once off the escalators, exit the station through the door directly ahead (adjacent to McDonalds). Take a right out of the station’s exit, (walk away from the bridges in the picture) and walk to the corner where Waterloo Road meets Baylis Road. Cross straight on at the crossing and bear right along Baylis Road, following the curve and keeping Waterloo Millennium Green on your left hand side. Keep following Baylis Road until you reach a junction, where Lambeth North station is located. Take the crossing outside the entrance to Lambeth North station to the traffic island in the centre of the road. From here, take the crossing to your left (opposite the large church steeple).
