V Marci Sa V Kine Lumičre V Cykle Music & Film Premietne Záznam TLAČOVÁ SPRÁVA 13. marec 2015 V marci sa v Kine Lumière v cykle Music & Film premietne záznam koncertu britskej skupiny Oasis Bratislavské Kino Lumière uvedie v marci v divácky obľúbenom cykle Music & Film britskú rockovú kapelu Oasis. Pod názvom Oasis – Live from Manchester diváci uvidia záznam koncertu z ich turné k šiestemu štúdiovému albumu Don´t Believe the Truth. „Po februárovom artrocku zo začiatku 70. rokov v podaní skupiny Yes sa v marci posunieme o pár desiatok rokov dopredu,“ hovorí dramaturg cyklu Music & Film Miro Ulman a pokračuje: „do čias, keď v hitparádach kraľoval Britpop a medzi sebou súperili najmä kapely Blur a Oasis.“ Toto obdobie pripomenie divákom projekcia filmu Oasis – Live from Manchester. Turné Don't Believe the Truth World Tour začalo 10. mája 2005 v Londýne a skončilo sa 28. marca 2006 v americkom Houstone. Počas neho Oasis vystupovali v 26 krajinách. Nielen v Európe, ale aj v Ázii, Južnej Amerike, v USA, Kanade, Japonsku či v Austrálii. 113 koncertov videlo viac než 3 milióny divákov. Súčasťou turné boli aj koncerty v ich domovskom Manchestri. „Existuje asi tucet oficiálnych záznamov vystúpení kapely Oasis, ale ja som vybral práve ten z Manchestru z leta 2005,“ vysvetľuje Miro Ulman. „Keď uvidíte, ako 60 tisíc divákov spieva s kapelou pieseň Don't Look Back in Anger, tak vám naskočí husia koža. Išlo navyše o rekordnú návštevu na City of Manchester Stadium, ktorý je stánkom slávneho futbalového klubu Manchester City.“ Na zázname odznie 16 skladieb od úvodnej Fuckin’ in the Bushes cez Rock ‘n’ Roll Star, Lyla, Wonderwall či Don’t Look Back in Anger až po záverečnú cover verziu hitu kapely The Who My Generation. „Záznam koncertu Oasis – Live from Manchester režíroval Dick Carruthers, tiež režisér záznamu comebacku kapely Led Zeppelin Celebration Day, ktorým sme pred dvoma rokmi začínali cyklus Music & Film v Kine Lumière,“ upresňuje Miro Ulman. Vznikla v roku 1991 v Manchestri z formácie The Rain. Začínala hrať v zložení Liam Gallagher (spev a tamburína), Paul „Bonehead“ Arthurs (gitara), Paul „Guigsy“ McGuigan (basgitara) a Tony McCarroll (bice, perkusie). Bradford has been showing movies since the twilight of the 19th century. More than 100 years later the city’s association with cinema continues to evolve, and Bradford International Film Festival remains at the very heart of it. The Festival’s reputation is growing. Bradford has become a byword for exciting, adventurous programming – a showcase for the new, the ground-breaking, the unusual and the obscure. In 2008 our line-up is once again constructed from a disparate mix of fresh material and tributes in the form of retrospectives. Thus Bradford straddles the cinema of the past and the cinema of the present while, always, looking forward to the future. This year special seasons are devoted to Michael Palin, Kenneth Branagh, Julien Temple, Leslie Norman and Christian Petzold. We will also be joined by Barry Norman, Patrick Doyle and Mike Figgis. Together they represent an incredible, unique cast list. Balanced with the films themselves – shorts and features – the offer is some- what overwhelming.
