  • V Marci Sa V Kine Lumičre V Cykle Music & Film Premietne Záznam
TLAČOVÁ SPRÁVA 13. marec 2015 V marci sa v Kine Lumière v cykle Music & Film premietne záznam koncertu britskej skupiny Oasis Bratislavské Kino Lumière uvedie v marci v divácky obľúbenom cykle Music & Film britskú rockovú kapelu Oasis. Pod názvom Oasis – Live from Manchester diváci uvidia záznam koncertu z ich turné k šiestemu štúdiovému albumu Don´t Believe the Truth. Projekcia sa uskutoční v stredu 18. marca 2015 o 20.30 hod. pri príležitosti vydania albumu Chasing Yesterday Noela Gallaghera. „Po februárovom artrocku zo začiatku 70. rokov v podaní skupiny Yes sa v marci posunieme o pár desiatok rokov dopredu,“ hovorí dramaturg cyklu Music & Film Miro Ulman a pokračuje: „do čias, keď v hitparádach kraľoval Britpop a medzi sebou súperili najmä kapely Blur a Oasis.“ Toto obdobie pripomenie divákom projekcia filmu Oasis – Live from Manchester. Ide o záznam koncertu kapely Oasis z 2. júla 2005 na štadióne v Manchestri z turné k ich šiestemu štúdiovému albumu Don’t Believe the Truth, ktorý bol návratom kapely na vrchol hitparády. Zároveň išlo o prvý album, na ktorom bubeníka Alana Whitea vystriedal Ringov syn Zak Starkey. Turné Don't Believe the Truth World Tour začalo 10. mája 2005 v Londýne a skončilo sa 28. marca 2006 v americkom Houstone. Počas neho Oasis vystupovali v 26 krajinách. Nielen v Európe, ale aj v Ázii, Južnej Amerike, v USA, Kanade, Japonsku či v Austrálii. 113 koncertov videlo viac než 3 milióny divákov. Súčasťou turné boli aj koncerty v ich domovskom Manchestri. „Existuje asi tucet oficiálnych záznamov vystúpení kapely Oasis, ale ja som vybral práve ten z Manchestru z leta 2005,“ vysvetľuje Miro Ulman.

Bradford has been showing movies since the twilight of the 19th century. More than 100 years later the city’s association with cinema continues to evolve, and Bradford International Film Festival remains at the very heart of it. The Festival’s reputation is growing. Bradford has become a byword for exciting, adventurous programming – a showcase for the new, the ground-breaking, the unusual and the obscure. In 2008 our line-up is once again constructed from a disparate mix of fresh material and tributes in the form of retrospectives. Thus Bradford straddles the cinema of the past and the cinema of the present while, always, looking forward to the future.
