We have had an even ul quarter gone by with Navratri & Diwali fes val celebra ons at our Club. As we enter 2019, Our country will have parliament elec ons which will shape the future for next 5 years apart from lots of challenges in global market place. We at Club O7, are determined to present you all with a relaxing and entertaining clubbing experience in the new year. The weather shall be cooler and pleasant ll march, let us all use it for fitness and loads of fun at Club O7 by taking part in all the interes ng events & ac vi es planned in coming quarter. The quarter gone by was full of happenings star ng from Navratri celebra ons. Everyone enjoyed thoroughly dancing to the tunes of Sanjay Oza, Devang Patel and Bhumik Shah on last 3 days of Navratri. The Sharad Poonam musical evening was appreciated by one and all with soulful performance of Dhruvish Shah. The Sports tournaments, Interes ng Workshops alongwith Rangoli compe on also met with very encouraging response. We at Club O7 did have our share of enjoyment during Diwali holidays with interes ng interac ve events like karaoke singing, Fun Games, Live music performances. The street food fest with Indian & Interna onal cuisine op ons was a super hit with all the members. The Gujara play Tran Doba Toba Toba was also highly enjoyed by all members at our newly opened auditorium Imperia Stand. The quarter of January to March, We have planned some Gujara plays, Music concerts, Kite Flying , Dhule celebra ons alongwith informa ve seminars and workshops to interest different age groups. We also request you to suggest programmes and events that interest you to present you all with a more enjoyable experience. Our YOS Gym now has regular Yoga sessions alongwith Zumba & Aerobics twice every week alongwith tailormade fitness programmes for your individual needs. I urge all the members to take full benefit of the Gymnasium services for your own health and fitness. Our Amida Spa also offers unique spa therapies alongwith saloon services to meet with your beauty & fitness needs with special deals for Club members. For Sports enthusiasts, There are coaching sessions for all sports in both mornings & evenings by our expert coaches. There is a new electronic games corner added besides indoor children play area for our young member children. Our unique ini a ve O7 BN, Business Network Pla orm exclusively for club members has laid a very strong founda on and has added lots of vibrancy in club O7. I request all members to experience it and join the Network for their own be erment in terms of Business as well as personal development. I sincerely thank all the O7 BN Members alongwith Managing commi ee of O7 BN for making it successful. We are ready with our state of the art Celebra ons & Conven on facili es, The Forum and I invite you all to visit the facili es during your next trip to Club O7. The Forum shall be the largest Conven on & Celebra on Centre in private sector in our state of Gujarat. The events & func ons held in the Forum so far has met with very encouraging & posi ve response from everyone, which is very heartening for all of us. You can plan your Family Celebra ons, Business meets and Trade shows in this new state of the art facility from now onwards and Club O7 members will have a preferred rates for their own family celebra ons. The primary purpose of this business network is to tell others about your business and hopefully turn them into your potential customers or clients. Business networking is a really valuable way to expand your knowledge, learn from the success of others, get new clients and tell others about your business. A strong and active business network has advantages that can make your business grow and lourish The idea is to spread awareness about businesses of each other. Currently we are 43 members who act like Marketing Associates / Key Referral Generators of each other. Each member in the group has minimum 10 references which they bring to the network and when it multiplies then it becomes a chain of references within the group. This chain is so useful that with the help of trust, honesty and sound work competencies of each other we help in generating real good amount of Business. Club has given us a wonderful platform to get associated with each other. We invest only 3 hours every fortnight to meet each other and the foundation of the group is so strong that any person looking for any reference is closed within our group within 15-20 minutes only. With strong bonding, transparency and with help of diverse background of the group, we have been able to generate a business of humongous amount in last 2 years. Not only this but also our families are having strong bonding because of the group which we consider a very fruitful by product of the HIMALAYA Chapter. Regular Social activities clubbed with sports events is yet another way of strong bonding and having sound association within the group. I urge all of you to take maximum bene it out of it and join the HIMALAYA Chapter to extract maximum bene it out of it within the Club, where business is done with so ease and comfort, strong relationships are built and so many lifelong friends are added into the closed circle.

Most of the times one gets stuck & helpless in a terrible inadvertent situation. So instead of getting deep in mess we should train ourselves the best for the unforeseen so that if such unplanned uncalled for situation arises we are able to cope up with best of our efforts. Rather than planning (and dreaming of future) we should invest some time in training our minds for the unforeseen, strengthen it to remain calm and think logically to sort out the problems or circumstances. That's real strength. To not give up, to not fear and conquer the unpredictable in full gear. I have always believed that if there is this problem in my life, I am capable of solving it and I will solve it. And then seeing my determination the problems just run away. It is always like how best u can deal with it and not how best u can sulk on it!! Say bye bye to panic and fret with a persistent zest! Beam your best smile... Begin a merry and gleeful lifestyle!!

THAT... which challenges us, can change us.
Earlier this morning, I saw two aunties running on the footpath. No, not jogging. They were literally running. Their age would be around 50 to 55, but their stamina was unparalleled. Their speed and agility were attracting attention from all the pedestrians. Looking at the history of humankind, for the longest time, it was believed that it was impossible for a person to run for 'one mile within four minutes'. Even the scientists believed so! The doctors stated that the strain applied on the body for completing the distance of a mile in four minutes would result in the human being collapsing before he reaches his destination. But on 6th May, 1954, a man broke this record. His name was Roger Banister. He shocked the whole world by running a mile in just four minutes. He did what others thought to be impossible. In fact, he reached the inish line at 3 minutes 59 seconds. The exact record of 3:59.4 was established. Roger Bannister went on to obtain a degree in neurology from the Oxford University, and he was knighted by the Queen in 1975. (During the 1952 Olympics, Roger was expected to win the gold medal in the 1500 metre race, but he ended on the fourth place. He contemplated quitting the sport for a couple of months, but he went on to prove his talent with the impossible feat of running a mile within four minutes. After two months of this achievement, Australian runner John Landy ran the same distance in 3 minutes 58 seconds. A race had been organised between John and Roger in Vancouver, Canada, in which Roger won the race. He had beaten John by 0.8 seconds and had reached the inish line at 3:58.8. After the race, both of them had been asked about the turning point in the race. They had agreed upon the moment when Roger had started overtaking John. At that instance, John had looked over his left shoulder to draw an estimate of Roger's speed, but Roger had overtaken him from the right side and ran ahead. This moment was recreated as a bronze idol to be put at the venue of the race. To win the race, one must concentrate on his own path. In the following years, by 1967, 16 other runners completed this challenge; and by 2015, countless people have run 'a mile in four minutes'. A record set on 7th July, 1999 is of 3 minutes and 43 seconds. A question to ask ourselves right now is - What is our 'a mile in four minutes' task? Do we have something in our personal life that is deemed impossible just like running a mile in four minutes? Do you ind something unachievable? We, as humans, are conditioned to form our self esteem on the basis of what others think about us. If people tell us that something is impossible for us to achieve, we would automatically be gullible enough to agree with them. Think about the goals you abandoned just because you heard someone condescending you. If it was not for those people, you would have successfully written that book you always wanted to pen down. You would have surely hit the sales target you always wanted to achieve. If you did not pay attention to them, your desired business would have been established and it would have been booming by now. German philosopher Friedrich Nietzsche once said, “That which does not kill us, makes us stronger.” What is your four minute long race? It might be impossible but it can be made possible.
