We have had an evenul quarter gone by with Navratri & Diwali fesval celebraons at our Club. As we enter 2019, Our country will have parliament elecons which will shape the future for next 5 years apart from lots of challenges in global market place. We at Club O7, are determined to present you all with a relaxing and entertaining clubbing experience in the new year. The weather shall be cooler and pleasant ll march, let us all use it for fitness and loads of fun at Club O7 by taking part in all the interesng events & acvies planned in coming quarter. The quarter gone by was full of happenings starng from Navratri celebraons. Everyone enjoyed thoroughly dancing to the tunes of Sanjay Oza, Devang Patel and Bhumik Shah on last 3 days of Navratri. The Sharad Poonam musical evening was appreciated by one and all with soulful performance of Dhruvish Shah. The Sports tournaments, Interesng Workshops alongwith Rangoli compeon also met with very encouraging response. We at Club O7 did have our share of enjoyment during Diwali holidays with interesng interacve events like karaoke singing, Fun Games, Live music performances. The street food fest with Indian & Internaonal cuisine opons was a super hit with all the members. The Gujara play Tran Doba Toba Toba was also highly enjoyed by all members at our newly opened auditorium Imperia Stand. The quarter of January to March, We have planned some Gujara plays, Music concerts, Kite Flying , Dhule celebraons alongwith informave seminars and workshops to interest different age groups. We also request you to suggest programmes and events that interest you to present you all with a more enjoyable experience. Our YOS Gym now has regular Yoga sessions alongwith Zumba & Aerobics twice every week alongwith tailormade fitness programmes for your individual needs. I urge all the members to take full benefit of the Gymnasium services for your own health and fitness. Our Amida Spa also offers unique spa therapies alongwith saloon services to meet with your beauty & fitness needs with special deals for Club members. For Sports enthusiasts, There are coaching sessions for all sports in both mornings & evenings by our expert coaches. There is a new electronic games corner added besides indoor children play area for our young member children. Our unique iniave O7 BN, Business Network Plaorm exclusively for club members has laid a very strong foundaon and has added lots of vibrancy in club O7. I request all members to experience it and join the Network for their own beerment in terms of Business as well as personal development. I sincerely thank all the O7 BN Members alongwith Managing commiee of O7 BN for making it successful. We are ready with our state of the art Celebraons & Convenon facilies, The Forum and I invite you all to visit the facilies during your next trip to Club O7. The Forum shall be the largest Convenon & Celebraon Centre in private sector in our state of Gujarat. The events & funcons held in the Forum so far has met with very encouraging & posive response from everyone, which is very heartening for all of us. You can plan your Family Celebraons, Business meets and Trade shows in this new state of the art facility from now onwards and Club O7 members will have a preferred rates for their own family celebraons. Our aim to make Club O7. One of the finest club of the country will not be possible without all your support & parcipaon. Your suggesons in all respect are most welcome to realize our dream. Harris met attorney Bob Frank for dinner in a well-off neighborhood on the North Side of Chicago. They took a walk around the area and stopped at shops along the way. Harris O was impressed by how Frank had made friends with many of the shopkeepers. Since moving to Chicago to set up his law practice, Harris had not encountered the kind of camaraderie that Frank enjoyed with his fellow businessmen. He wondered whether there was a way to channel and expand this type of fellowship, which reminded him of the New England town where he'd grown up. The thought persisted that “ I was experiencing only what had happened to hundreds, perhaps thousands, of others in the great city … I was sure that there must be many other young men who had come from farms and small villages to establish themselves in Chicago ... Why not bring them together? If others were longing for fellowship as I was, something would come of it” -- Paul P. Harris, My Road to Rotary Eventually, Harris persuaded other local businessmen to meet and discuss forming a club for commercial trade, community, and fellowship... and on 23 February 1905, they held what would later become known as the first Rotary club meeting. His vision laid the foundation for the Rotary of today. In February 1907, Harris was elected the third president of the Rotary Club of Chicago. Toward the end of his presidency, he worked to expand Rotary beyond the city.

Joao Hugo Eduardo de Sequeira (b. 20 April 1915 – d. 17 October 1989), popularly known as Dr. Jack de Sequeira; also known as Jak Siker according to local naming conventions, was a prominent Goan politician and is popularly known in Goa as the Father of the Opinion Poll. Dr. Sequeira born in Burma – now Myanmar, was the founder president of the United Goans Party established after the Liberation of Goa from the Portuguese colonial regime. He played a pivotal role in both, the assembly of the then Union Territory of Goa, Daman and Diu as the leader of the opposition, and in convincing the government of India to hold an Opinion Poll for deciding the issue of the merger of Goa into the state of Maharashtra.
