J ORDER , • WHEREAS I, Basappa Danappa Jatti, Vice President acting as President of India, have received a report from the Administrator of the Union Terrilory of Mizoram and after considering the report, I am satisfied that a situation has arisen in which the administration of the Union Territory of Mizoram cannot be carried on in accordance with the provisions of the Government of Union Ter.. ritories Act, 1963 (20 of 1963) (hereinafter referred to as "the Act"); NOW, THEREFORE, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 51 of' the Act and of all other powers enabling me in that behalf I hereby - (a) Suspend. for a period of seven months from tbe date of this order, in relation to the said Union Territory of Mizoram, the operation of the following provisions of the Act, namely,:- section 6 : in section 7, sub sections (1). In pursuance of clause (d) of sub-paragraph II) and Sub-paragraph (2)_of paragraph 17 of the Election Symbols (Reservation and Allotment) Order, 1908, • 3 'the Commission hereby makes the following amendments in its notification No. "56/77'11. dated 9 February, 1971, published as S.O. 152 (E) in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part 11, section 3 (ii) dated 9 Feb., 1977 and 8S amended from time to time namely- In TABLE 3 of the said notification ;--- (i) against item No 4 Gujarat, under column 2 the entries 10'(5) Cultivator win­ nowing grain" and "r 10) Plough" shall be DELETED and the remaining entries Nos. Indian National Congress (Organisation), 2. Bharatiya Jana Sangh, 3. Bharatiya Lok Dal and 4. Socialist Party, shall be a National Party and that the symbol "HoldharIhar within wheel (Chakra Haldhar)" shall be reserved for it; And whereas the Commission has furtherer decided in the said order that the name of the four National Parties, namely 1. radian National Congress (Orga­ nisation), 2. Harris met attorney Bob Frank for dinner in a well-off neighborhood on the North Side of Chicago. They took a walk around the area and stopped at shops along the way. Harris O was impressed by how Frank had made friends with many of the shopkeepers. Since moving to Chicago to set up his law practice, Harris had not encountered the kind of camaraderie that Frank enjoyed with his fellow businessmen. He wondered whether there was a way to channel and expand this type of fellowship, which reminded him of the New England town where he'd grown up. The thought persisted that “ I was experiencing only what had happened to hundreds, perhaps thousands, of others in the great city … I was sure that there must be many other young men who had come from farms and small villages to establish themselves in Chicago ... Why not bring them together? If others were longing for fellowship as I was, something would come of it” -- Paul P. Harris, My Road to Rotary Eventually, Harris persuaded other local businessmen to meet and discuss forming a club for commercial trade, community, and fellowship... and on 23 February 1905, they held what would later become known as the first Rotary club meeting. His vision laid the foundation for the Rotary of today. In February 1907, Harris was elected the third president of the Rotary Club of Chicago. Toward the end of his presidency, he worked to expand Rotary beyond the city.

This argument commences from the postulate that the recognition of Konkani in the Devanagari script as the official language of Goa, determined the boundaries of the state’s civil society.Through an ethnographic study of the contestations around the demand that the Roman script also be officially recognised, the thesis demonstrates how by deliberately excluding the Roman script for the language, the largely lower-caste and lower-class Catholic users of the script were denoted as less than authentic members of the legitimate civil society of the state.

The Sports tournaments, Interesng Workshops alongwith Rangoli compeon also met with very encouraging response. We at Club O7 did have our share of enjoyment during Diwali holidays with interesng interacve events like karaoke singing, Fun Games, Live music performances. The street food fest with Indian & Internaonal cuisine opons was a super hit with all the members. The Gujara play Tran Doba Toba Toba was also highly enjoyed by all members at our newly opened auditorium Imperia Stand. The quarter of January to March, We have planned some Gujara plays, Music concerts, Kite Flying , Dhule celebraons alongwith informave seminars and workshops to interest different age groups.
