Bristol Port spans across 2,600 acres and owns and operates both Royal Portbury and Avonmouth Docks . This booklet contains information to keep you safe and rules to adhere to when visiting the Port. Make sure you attract the attention of Port personnel before crossing operational areas. Be vigilant of any trespassers to your vessel and report any suspicious activities or behaviours to the Port Police on ext. 4444 or +44 (0)1275 375787 Reporting an emergency ACTION Telephone emergency services on 999 then telephone Port of Bristol Police on +44 (0)117 982 0000- extension: 4444. If incident involves toxic gases, take cover in a building or ship's accommodation ensuring you close all doors, windows, vents etc. EVACUATION If instructed to evacuate, move to your designated assembly point in an orderly manner. Do not return to incident area. Do not drive vehicles from the incident area. Severnside Sirens Go In Stay In Tune In The Severnside Sirens warn people of possible incidents involving dangerous substances in Avonmouth. If you hear them: Go In Stay In Tune In The Severnside Siren System is tested monthly on the third day of each month at 1500.
