SAFETY - THE KEY WORD

In the interests of safety, crew must not walk across any operational areas. Make sure you attract the attention of Port personnel before crossing operational areas. Be vigilant of any trespassers to your vessel and report any suspicious activities or behaviours to the Port Police on ext. 4444 or +44 (0)1275 375787 Reporting an emergency

ACTION Telephone emergency services on 999 then telephone Police on +44 (0)117 982 0000- extension: 4444. If incident involves toxic gases, take cover in a building or ship's accommodation ensuring you close all doors, windows, vents etc.

EVACUATION If instructed to evacuate, move to your designated assembly point in an orderly manner. Do not return to incident area. Do not drive vehicles from the incident area.
