MESSAGE FROM THE TOURNAMENT DIRECTOR Dear friends and supporters of Asia Girls Paintball International Championship, SEIZE THE I am immensely proud to say that this is the 3rd year that we are organizing the all girls paintball OPPORTUNITIES competition – Asia Girls Paintball International Championship also known affectionately as AGPIC. This is held in Singapore and organized TO LEARN MORE, by the same team behind Singapore Paintball Series. The idea of an all girls event was mooted FIGHT HARDER in 2016 and first came to fruition in 2017. We are incredibly excited every year during AGPIC to be able to gather all the girls who play paintball in AND LIVE Singapore. The fact that most teams in Asia are all men and few have one or two girls makes the BETTER! gathering even more significant for the region. Getting more girls and women into the sport has been a challenge for many countries especially Asia. Conventional ways of family functions and traditions often present reality challenges for many women to be more involved in sports on a competitive level. While western countries are generally ahead in getting women into the sports, the imbalance is still significant for the percentage of women in a sport like paintball. Organizing the AGPIC on our tiny red dot state-country is our Tournament Director way of calling out to all girls and women alike in the region to step forward and make this day your day to go body and soul in to competing and excelling in the sport we love most - paintball. SPS MOTTO This year, we are bringing to you AGPIC in conjunction with 4 new Divisions – 1vs1, 7-men PROGRESSIVE Division, Under-23 Division and Masters Series. The individuals, young, seniors and ladies will get a shot within a division where they can claim PROFESSIONAL territory in. It will be interesting for the youths compete within their age bracket and see where they stand. This is the same objective for the PASSIONATE women’s and seniors’ categories. The 7-men Division brings back the good old days where 10-men and 7-men were the rage. We want www.singaporepaintballseries.com to invite everyone to be a part of this amazing weekend which promises good paintball fun and @SingaporePaintballSeries fair competition for all teams. Read on further to find out the details of the event. In the months @singapore_paintball_series leading up to the event, we will also be constantly updating you with the event information on our @AsiaGirlsPaintball website and Facebook Pages.
