It supports the achievement of our Vision/Tō Mātau Moemoeā - to be the must experience Museum that uses past, present and future Kiwi technology and ingenuity to educate and inspire the innovators of tomorrow, and transition MOTAT from being “a collection of things” to a “lightbulb institution”. The lockdown, and ongoing uncertainty surrounding Covid-19 significantly impacted MOTAT's overall visitor numbers and our ability to generate revenue in the last quarter of the 2019-2020 financial year.
