21st Annual Cheers from the Heart

In 1999 the Wells High School Cheerleaders established Cheers from the Heart, a charity benefit cheerleading competition, as a way to give back to our home town communities. Over the last 20 years, Cheers from the Heart has donated over $253,000 to local charities, families and children in need.

The 21st annual Cheers from the Heart competition will be held on February 2, 2019 at two co-host locations – Biddeford High School and Oxford Hills High School. The competition is open to all Youth, Recreation and All-Star teams (morning session) and Junior High/Middle School and High School Junior Varsity/Varsity teams (afternoon session). All teams will have their routines scored and will be recognized at the end of the session.

Please complete the registration form and return it along with the registration fee payable to Wells High School Cheerleading to the address provided below. The registration fee is $65.00 per team, per school. The registration fee for youth teams that are members of the MYCCA is $35.00 per team and proof of membership must be provided along with the registration form. Registration closes on January 25, 2019. Please note, any team that does not provide the registration fee prior to the start of competition will not be able to compete. A confirmation email will be provided upon receipt of your registration form and fee.

Coaches, fans and parents are reminded that this is a charity event and that the emphasis should be on the kids having fun. The gym will be cleared between the morning and afternoon sessions. Admission is $5.00 per adult per session, $3.00 per student/senior per session and free to children age 5 and under.
